What is the Lifetime of a WSO?

Hi Warriors,

Just wanted to know the lifetime of a WSO. After launching a WSO, how many days will it stay in the WSO Section.

Is it possible to bump my WSO after 1 or 2 months?

Thanks in advance.

It will stay in the WSO section infinitely and yes you can bump it in the future. It will obviously lose popularity as it goes down from the top pages.
Oddly enough I was looking at a WSO was bumped today and it was from a year ago.

As mentioned above, your wso will stay in the WSO section, but you can bump it to page one once it is on page 3+.

I still get sales from my last WSO, so the life expectancy can be a lot longer than you may anticipate.

        Easy.

He has a (I'm assuming) solid product, solid reputation (you can see) and a solid sales copy. If he posts around here, people notice. Some people click on his sig link and purchase whatever it is that he's offering.

Regarding your question, the lifetime of a WSO is infinite. The initial buzz may die out after a few weeks if yours is a general, run-of-the-mill WSO. However, there have been cases where I've seen WSOs run for far, far longer than one would expect (case in point: Angela's backlinks thread).

Interestingly, that was a product that is not in my sig file.

However, it is advertised in other products that I sell. People who are buying my current stuff are seeing links for my older stuff at the end of new products -- links that new customers follow and use to buy my other products.

On that particular product, it continued to make money in the WSO Forum for 5 weeks. Thereafter, bumps barely made a profit, so I quit bumping it.

I have actually sold 4 copies of that product in the last seven days, enabling me to pick up an additional $160.

It happens more often than you think. I will tell you the real "secret"...

        Participation in the forum.

That does not mean posting one liners; it means adding value to the discussion.

Seriously, this is the one biggest secret to selling WSOs.

        All the best,
        Michael

Yea, with WSOPro you don't even have to keep paying for bumps. Just grab some affiliates and you can promote it indefinitely.

You should keep bumping it so long as you are making money every time you do so. Even if you come out even everytime you bump it you are still adding new buyers to your list. You can also advertise your WSO in your signature and in the banner ads at the top of the forum.

The lifespan of your WSO has a lot more to do with the quality of the product and how timeless the technique or product is. A WSO is just like any other product. It will keep selling if you keep advertising it and people want to keep buying it.

This is a good piece of advice. I would have to agree with you on building your client list.

If the information is solid and not "perishable", no reason a WSO can't last a long time. Plugins, software, services also should last a long time.

It can literally get buried within a day.

You are officially allowed to bump it when your offer falls off page 2.

Which is usually within about 1-2 days.

Writing an enticing WSO is a fine art, takes a lot of practice to perfect.

To be fair, although they are buried quickly, just have a look at the number of people viewing the WSO section compared to other sections of this forum...

So it's definitely worth it if you have something to offer!

WSOs come up a lot in the searches, so even if you're burried way down on page 40 people can still find your stuff.
