Youtube accout with over 100k a month views...now how monetize it?

Well I have a Youtube account and it's mostly all Car related from shows and cruises I go to. Always have a camera with me so I get a lot of stuff and Youtube accepted me for partnership a bit over a year ago?

Still trying to figure out what they look for when they choose to run adds on one of my videos? I mean I took a quick vid of a Blimp by my house and withing 20 views they accepted it  Then others are over 10k views with lots of comments on them and they just sit unoticed by Ytube.

That and trying to figure how to get more out of my bigger 400k and 200k videos? All I have been able to find is how to get Youtube to notice you account but less of what I can do once you have been for a while?

There is not much you can do if one of your video is not accepted for the partnership program but there are other ways which you can use to monetize your videos such as directing traffic to some of your affiliate links or your own squeeze pages, websites, etc.

If your video is useful for others with unique content of your own then it should get accepted. Its not all about popularity (views your video gets), there are other factors which Youtube considers.

Just my thoughts, hope to have helped.

    Cheers
    Ciel!

You could try directing people to a website where you can get autosale leads or whatever.

In the desciption of all your videos, be sure to initially include a link to product or service you are selling.

Well for some reason I went to the grand opening of a Five Guys a few miles from my house and ran into a guy filming it. Started talking with him and he was a SEO filming for content on a Restaurant site he was building.

Told him of my predicament and he was trying to get a auto related site up and running. So in an off the wall way I am partnering with him and doing the video portion to sell a couple of Ferrari's, a Porsche and some other British sports cars by hosting them on my sight.

Asside from that I forgot to mention that I have about 25 or so of my videos that were accepted by Youtube, It's just strange how Tube seems to pick some real odd one for what reason I do not know? One was of a early 50's Pontiac Hearse with a fake Ghool cadaver in a coffin in the back. Had only a few views and before I know it I had to put Youtube music on my vid to kill the Third Party warning so they could run adds.

Thanks for creating this post. I constantly need to remind friends of mine, the importance of using Youtube as part of your online marketing efforts. The importance of using Youtube can't be overstressed enough. It is so true that you can take videos of how something works and have a pile of visitors because people are curious how things work and others are plain bored.

Yeah well if I type in my Youtube screen name in Google I am or at least was #1 in results but now Wikapedia beat me out

Also I made a slide show of girls with killer Abs in April and now it is on not only 3 websites using it to sell Abs and Exercise stuff. Even Clickbank is using my video

Also does anybody know of anything like BubblePly.com that lets you put clickable links on your Youtube videos? I would love to put affiliate links on my video that is now on 4 other people URL's and let them do some advertising for me :p

Put an Annotation at the end of the Video directing them to a link on the first line of your description. Look at how each video is key worded (your key words should tell you information on your viewers) and Build mailing lists by offering viewers a link to a squeeze page for a free gift based on the needs of the clientele or offer direct affiliate products to fix typical problems.

I do something like this with my youtube channel and have solid results.

Seems viable but not to my problem. My Video is being used by other people on there sites to sell. I made the Video and posted it lat April and it now has 24k in views and is being used on 4 peoples URL's including Clickbank?!

That is why I would like to put a clickable link ON my video. That way all the people using MY video would be advertising for me! Just trying to get more out of my video using other efforts basically.

Understandable, unfortunately as of now youtube doesn't have the exit link capability ON the video (to my knowledge/I doubt they would ever allow this capability for free) but I'd say your next best bet is a Short catchy Domain name that is easy to type in, then put a call to action and the domain link in an annotation.

Yes, the user would have to type it in, but a killer call to action could def pull you some traffic
