Does Youtube accept Videos that are Ads?

Does Youtube have a problem with videos that have links or ads embedded? I checked out their rules and guideline, and did not see anything mentioned.

I think most videos on YouTube are now ads of some sort. The hardest thing is getting them to go viral.... regards Allen

    They allow commercials.

I go there to see Ashley Madison and Geico ads all the time, when I am in the mood for funny.

Youtube will accept anything well almost anything, just make sure the content within the video doesn't go against the copyright of other companies.

Like there are people who would post videos that have a certain song in them and youtube will tell them to take it down because of copyright and if a video does have that you would have to state that in the description of the video, so youtube knows your following the rules.

Youtube seems to be suspending accounts and deleting videos at random, so you just got to be careful what you do.

  • Yep. Ads are always on youtube. Lindsey Lohan just promoted a website on there.

If you're asking whether or not you can download someone else's video and repurpose it for your own gains, the answer is NO. It's called stealing.

I run my own 30 sec to 45 sec ad spot before I start my video that I am presenting. This way Youtube does not get all the spotlight. I try to keep the ad targeted to the audience my video is geared for though.

You can probably post it. Whether or not it will stay is a different matter
