I have an exact keyword match domain name for a make money online keyword that has 14,800 global searches per month. However, there are more than 4.7 million competing sites for this long tail keyword per Google and I have no clue where my site ranks, except I do not see on the first 10 search result pages. Note - I do, however, rank #1 on both Yahoo and Bing for this keyword! LOL - $0 as a result to date! I am actually considering a complete overhaul of my website as it was running a certain pre-installed multi-income stream for me that wasn't working. However, I do not want to waste time if it doesn't have the potential to turn into a financial success somewhere down the road.
Exact Keyword Match Domain Question

I have an exact keyword match domain name for a make money online keyword that has 14,800 global searches per month. I am actually considering a complete overhaul of my website as it was running a certain pre-installed multi-income stream for me that wasn't working. However, I do not want to waste time if it doesn't have the potential to turn into a financial success somewhere down the road.
So I guess my real question is this: With the above information I provided - 14,800 global monthly searches, 4.7-4.8 million competing sites and I have the exact keyword match domain (no "x" or anything before or after keyword, just the exact match) - does the fact that I do have this exact match make it worthwhile for me to exploit that or is competition just too great regardless? I realize there are additional SEO considerations to take into account, i.e. high PR links, backlinks, etc, but I am wondering if this domain can be key to cutting through the competition and receiving pro-treatment from Google with the right SEO strategy.
I apologize for the length of my post, but I wanted to provide as much detail and information as possible in hope that it would be sufficient for someone to answer my question.
Any comments/responses would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.
Anthony
