How would you use a £500 windfall?

Title says it all. If you had no debts to pay off, how would you best use a £500 windfall to supplement/generate online income?

For example, would it be best to use it to outsource some work to free up time to concentrate on other areas, or would there be something specific to 'invest' it on which would see longer term returns?

I know everyone is different, so what would YOU use it on?
And what would you advise SOMEONE ELSE to use it on?

Just interested

I would definitely use it to pay for ppc traffic from the search engines for a few of my sites.

Really? That's pretty dumb advice, £500 isn't really much when it comes to PPC, you'd burn through most of that before you've had time to test.

@ OP - if you have sites that are already profitable that require work (and have a return on time invested) then look to outsource these tasks (assuming there is ROI for you). Or just buy a few semi-established sites. £300 on a site ($500) and £100 on SEO. Keep the other £100 for a rainy day.

That is a MASSIVE generalization. You clearly havent kept up to date with PPC pricing or the various methods of PPC that are available, and the oodles of niches that are incredibly low cost.

Have some software or a plugin made.

This gives you a unique product.

You just need the idea to start.

    Cheers

Yep, Tony's advise. Create something that you can sell over and over.

By coincidence I'm getting a £500 windfall in 3 weeks and I've got no debts. I was considering buying a mini notebook computer with it so I can work when I'm travelling easier than with the laptop. But it's about time I got my own products out there so it would help bankroll it.

It's hard to advise others on how to spend money because we all benefit from different things so it's too general a question to answer.

    Some interesting answers, thanks!
I'm not saying which one sounds most appealing

Before I posted I had a couple of things in mind to spend my windfall on and it's interesting to see that they came up - buy another site and PPC.

I know it's difficult to generalise but it was interesting to me to see the types of answers people would go for. Thanks for the input!
