I'm seeing all over the internet saying "make $100 with only 2 hours of work today! Click here to read how!" Is this stuff real, or is it just a scam?

99% scam. The methods most likely works but if you put more efforts in them and the revenue is 1/10 of whats advertised.

Also you should check some of the ebooks in your signature

ok... the 99% scam remark sounds like a knee jerk reaction from a jaded soul, but the remark about the ebooks in the sig make me wonder if it's not just a part of sardonic humor.

lol. 1/10 of what's advertised. That's true. So what do you think is better; the free ebooks or the ones that aren't free (considering you have to pay for these)?

You cannot judge the value of a teaching tool by its price alone.

In the real world, getting an education costs money.

In online and offline businesses that are successful, business owners understand that everything costs money, including a good education.

If you are concerned about having to spend money on your education or business, then you may be better off with a job.

Also most offline books are written by people that have secured a proper publishing deal, don't act like ebooks have nearly as much credability.

Ebooks have as much credibility as the author who wrote them.

        Print-On-Demand books, the same.

Publishing House books? Yes, those generally have the credibility of the publishing house behind them too.

If the program/site/ebook shows you exact method & a real case study of making $100 with only 2 hours of work, you can learn something from it.

Its just the line which is used to advertise/market the program & nothing else.

    Is this scam?
Cant say but hyped up sales letter will definitely make you feel so.

    Cheers

Well, a perfect case study would be answering ...
    Is This Real?

Free ebooks about how to make lots of money online!
Lots of free ebooks about how to make money online with just a little bit of effort.
Its in your signature. Seems like a very similar claim.

Interestingly enough the first offer on your wall is a method of supposedly making $100 per day with some program.
    Is it real?

    PS:
I'm not trying to be sarcastic ... Your offer is identical to the type of thing you;re asking about in your question. One would wonder "why" are you asking that question?

Is it because the offers that make that claim seem too good to be true?
Are these types of offers over hyped?
Do these offers historically under deliver on their promise?

See the real issue here is, if those things are true enough too make you question the validity in the offer ... If the offer in question is "questionable" then its reasonable to think they get poor results.

Why then would you implement a similar sounding offer yourself?

    ... seems counterproductive to me.

. . . only 2 hours of work - If you already have a mailing list - if you're prepared to spend more money on the OTO - if . . . you get the idea. Ther is NO overnight instant wealth, particularly if you're new to IM.

The links in your signature look exactly like the stuff you're asking about. I checked some of them, and they're way outdated garbage.

I don't support this school of thought entirely. I agree that if you have some finances behind you, the journey is easier and usually quicker.

However, even someone who's running on vapors can make a start. That's the reason I started a blog solely for people on limited finance. Yes it's tougher, and generally speaking, slower, but with determination, and helpful advice, it can be done.

Yes, maybe some of those people would be better off with a job. I don't know what the USA is like at the moment, but any employment prospects here are bloody grim, and getting worse.

Everybody deserves a chance. Many successful people have started with nothing.

I started with $180. I bought a domain and prepaid one-years worth of hosting. That was when that kind of thing was more expensive than it is now.

I had tried to make money before that online, but I was never successful.

You don't need money to be successful online, but you DO need commitment.

And until you are willing to put your money behind your dream, even if it is only $20, then you may not have the commitment you need to succeed.

No its not scam at all, if you really work 2 hours a day on your money-maker system, you can make $100 a day.

But what's its not tell in the ad is that first you have to set up this system and make it work...which is an other story...

I make considerably more than $100 in 2 hours.

In actual fact I work less than 4 hours a day, 5 months a year and live comfortably.

But the only books I use are bookmakers

...i hope this thread isn't some tactic you are using to drive traffic to the offer in your signature!. anyway, you will never know unless you try some of the offers yourself. just be wise about it and dont develop the shiny object syndrome like many new IMers do.

If some one has such a method, why does he sell it? The reality is techniques they explain are correct only theoretically, not practically.

Every lie is covered by some truth. You can take several scams, extract truth and synthesize something what is really working.

Any tool is just instrument in your hands. Anyway you will have to dig by yourself.

If it sounds too good to be true, then it usually is. This applies to ANYTHING in life!

People can make millions of dollars a day in internet marketing though with huge launches. But guess what, those people have spent years building a brand and an online presence and most of all have provided excellent value with whatever they are offering.

You can make way much more than $100 with less than 2 hours work if you have a good email list and some good JV partners. It just takes a while to get to this point though. Being successful in Internet Marketing takes time, hard work and an unrelenting desire to succeed regardless of the odds.

It can be true or not it depends on who is the person who reads the magic formula. The method might or might not require some resources, ability or email list that you might or might not have. Of course there are some methods that doesn't really show the real figures behind their system. so it can be just a trick to sell their products. Andrea

Well, somewhere buried in those ebooks is the technique of "go to forums and post questions related to what you're selling and put a link in your sig to your product and with only 2 hours of work you can make $100 today."

This threads aren't coincidental, they're calculated.

Have to agree here and I'm seeing more and more posts from folks with accounts with some age on them but low post counts working this kind of thing.

As far as the OP's question, sure, you can pull this off. I know people with decent sized lists that do better than that with less effort. But even 2 hours of real effort over time can all add up. Outsourcing work can leverage your time etc... and free doesn't always mean worthless and low priced doesn't always mean cheap.

        Just my 2 cents...

Most likely a scam, do yourself a favor and stop looking at ads that will tell you that you will make $XXX, and just build yourself a website and make money the good ol hard way. It will pay off in the long run.

You absolutely can obtain these kind of results it's just not as easy as these ads claim.

The truth is that making good money online takes alot of time and patience....anyone that tells you otherwise is completely full of $#@*

I have generated much more than that in far less time than that. But that doesn't give you the full picture until you know the facts. it's just a marketing statement and it may or may not be a scam but it is entirely up to the buyer to use his or her common sense prior to buying. I also believe there is a lesson in everything, even if you have bought into a scam, hopefully you have learned not to buy into another one in the future.
All in all I like to believe anything is possible good or bad!
