I'd spend 10 hours making video then hire someone to upload them for me. Hmm I have all the free time in the world, so why don't I do this now?? I'm gonna get on that this week!! THANKS!

I'd definitely go with Facebook Ads and Video. FB will allow you to target the demographic that you are looking for and Video ranks super fast.

First, how big is your current list in the niche?

Second, what is your marketing/advertising budget?

Depends on how competitive is your niche and how fast do you want to see results. Forum marketing and blog commenting can generate pretty fast traffic and also build up relationship with the blog owner / webmaster, The key is to provide value instead of sticking your signature. Especially with forum, you can brainstorm the common problem that people facing in your niche and then to provide your solution without give all out. Once people recognize your value, sure they will be more than happy to visit your squeeze page to get more.

If your niche is not competitive, SEO could be a good choice, in combination of of the methods above. Boost your On Page Optimization and then start your backlinking strategies with article marketing, press release, web 2.0, blog commenting, forum signature, high PR profile, .edu .gov links, etc...The time it takes to dominate first page of Google depend on the competition of your niche.

I'd write 3-4 good quality articles of length 600-1000 words. Linkbait is your best weapon and, if you work hard at it, you'll see steady growth.

And that steady growth is nice btw cuzz it gives you a short term reward for your efforts.

Everybody has their own way, but in my case I have submitted almost nothing to article submitters, directories or anything similar. It's been nothing but article writing for my own sites and Twitter...

If you really do have a bundle of articles sitting on you site, the best thing you can do is get 'em out to the article directories. Even if you pick only five, the benefits for traffic generation will be worth the work.

Don't forget, you don't even need to spin them before submission. Just make sure that there are no linksin the top half of the article, and you should be good to go.

      Cheers

I would spend time LEARNING FIRST...If you dont educate yourself on what works.. you're going to fail whether you have 10 hours per day or 20 hours per day.

so first learn all that you can. choose a few traffic strategies and see what works for you and then learn how to improve it and streamline it.

i would then definitely focus on keyword research and blogging. basically SEO. With this strategy you can get traffic every single day for a post you wrote months or even years ago.. so the more posts you write over time...the more traffic you get.

put an opt in form on your blog to grow your list and BOOM.. you're in business!

Danielle S., Thanks for saying that! I forgot to input the times it takes to do those.. lol This is how long on average it takes me:

    Step 1: 30 Minutes
    Step 2: 5 minutes
    Step 3: 15 minutes
Step 4: 15-20 (Depending on how long your video is!)
    Step 5: <5 minutes
Step 6: 25-30 minutes (Depends on how long your article is and how fast you can spin! I've spun some in 10 minutes and some in 30:-P)
Step 7: 15-? minutes (Sometimes I answer tons of questions and really get involved! lol)

So total it takes me around 2 hours/day to do a full completion of the process! But this is a VERY effective process that I use daily to generate TONS of traffic.

    Generating Traffic,

      It's all about leverage.

Spend half of your time creating tools people can use to send you traffic while benefitting themselves (syndicatable articles, videos, giveaway reports, audios, etc.)

Spend the other half of your time searching out and connecting with people willing and able to use those tools.

What do you do when some one call to police? Do this if it will happen.

At the police station, front of few police men, do a simple lecture about advantages of internet marketing and invite them as join with you.

      Ideas........

      1. Are you selling own products? Simply you'll be able to find few Affiliates.
      2. Downline members for referral sites.

      Or,

Guide police men for Affiliate marketing. Tell them as write articles about crimes & violence, find related Affiliate products, list building.... Be a mentor for them and earn some money through it.

Think in deep & be creative.

Hands down, I would spend 9 hours doing article marketing and 1 hour doing click swaps.

I know people think article marketing is dead, but it's not. Plus, if you have 100 articles, you can easily re-purpose the articles into ebooks that you could give away as free content to your list, you could sell them for a nominal fee, you could sell them on Amazon Kindle or other ebook sites, etc.

    Just a thought...

If you're looking for JUST traffic and not backlinks, register and participate in a handful of high traffic, niche related forums. If you spend an hour or so a day posting you will see a good chunk of traffic coming your way.

As far as the remaining hours of the week, there's a bunch of different things you could do. Write & spin articles for mass distribution, manual blog commenting, guest posting on niche related blogs, etc.

I will work on anything that brings in passive traffic.. Real effort that brings traffic for life.. So i think i can list

    1.Article writing and syndication
    2. Guest Blogging
    3. Forum participation

Thats it. 10 hours a week in all the three for 2 blogs will get you enough passive traffic..

I would work my plan in this thread every single week until I completed it. Then, I would compile the data and if my squeeze page is performing the way I would like, then I would move onto the next step, which is to outsource more writing and backlinking.

Cut your time in pieces before you do anything. Make a plan and then do this for 1 hour this for and so on. For free traffic I would suggest video marketing, it costs you next to nothing and youtube can bring a good amount of traffic and backlinks for your site to climb in the serps.
If you only want to go with free methods article marketing is working too. Not as good as it was but you can get traffic from articles. From my experience the only really way to go is ezinearticles if you want traffic. The rest is good for backlinking.
Another good way is to creat facebook fanpages to drive traffic to your sqeeze pages. This is free too.
If you have some money facebook ads are a good way to drive targeted traffic to your site. Media buys can work too if you advertise on related sites.

        Hope that helps a bit
