how to make money today

We cannot really make a product in a day, it will not be of any value.

To create a product, a lot must be done, like researching, creating, QA, survey on needs, and many more!!! But once it is all done, then it is time to market the product.

I think that what Mike really means is nowadays... NOT "today". I guess many peple are following the "new shiny" thing that is going to make us millions when it all boils down to offerin something of value in exchange of money. You offer value by providing a service or product, simple.

I guess the right question is how can you sell a product or service with in a day ?

I know a lot of people do not think it is possible but you can create a product within a day ... If you know the problems in your niche and you ask your subscribers what it is they want , you can create a value 10 page or 20 page report and sell it

Or you can create an audio program addressing the issue and offer it to subscribers for $10 . Not all products have to be expensive . You can easy overdeliver with a $10 product if you have experience in what you are doing.
It is all in your head . You can sit down for 3-4 hours and create a 10 page report and sell for $10 dollars . they are not buying the pages . they are buying the content and if you offer something valuable they would ask for your next report.

You can make money today with affiliate marketing if you get in front of the right audience and present the solution to them

you can make money within 2 hours or less if you have a responsive email list an affiliate offer

I started my online business 4 years ago starting with hard SEO projects, casinos, etc. I believe the big issue here many people don tlook at is there is no quick money scheme, I have made a few bucks over the last few years but am far from making a total living from this. Like any business it takes time effort and patience.

I would have to go with the Offer A Service option on this one. Making any decent amount of money with a product that you create will take time, money, and advertising. Plus, in most cases, I think it takes more than a day to put together a good product that's worth more than a couple of dollars.

I agree with Ofthemix here, any product you create in just one day surely isn't going to be a very good one! Unless you're a true speed demon (in which case I suggest you chill out!)

You can definitely make a bit of cash in one day offering a service. Put up a ghostwriting special offer and one order could get you $50-$100. Pretty handy if you need emergency cash.

Creating the product isn't a big deal--for most the issue would be marketing/promoting--in one day, not so easy. Not everyone has a list or belongs to other forums. Offering a service isn't necessarily so quick either. I had my writing link in my sig for a few days before anyone even clicked on it.

But that's without spending money.

If I buy ads for my e-book and start a thread on my writing services, I'll probably get more buyers. Problem there is that people looking for emergency cash are trying to conserve funds, not spend.

If someone wants to make money today, as in, cash in pocket today or tomorrow, they do ebay/craigslist or freebie trading.

Making money "today" can be easy to do as long as you have the right method.

Sure if you've created a product and can promote it well then you can make money today.

But if you have not created products before and want to earn fast cash then one of the best ways to do that is with CPA offers.

Absolutely. By doing this method is it is easy to make money that same day. And for even faster conversions, target the right CPA offers. Zip or email submits can convert fast.

Simply by doing this basics such as:

- Forum marketing
- Targeting online communities such as "groups" or "answers"
- Social marketing
- Or even going offline and dropping off flyers

These all have generated ridiculous amounts of money for people very quickly.

The OP never said anything about making a quality product or service. A lot of difference in making money today than making it in the long term.

lot of difference in making money online than creating a business.

You could easily offer an answer to an in demand question .. put it on fiver .. tweet it a few times and make money by answering that question.

People seem to get locked in to only being able to make money online using tactics like affiliate marketing, product creation, or offering a service when there are a lot of ways to make a quick buck .. have a happy customer ... and build a true business in the background.

I see people all the time saying you can't do this or you can't do it in a certain time frame. Who says? What force holds you back?

That would be like saying .. I only made $40 my first month in IM so it is impossible to make $200,000 in your first month. Most in IM limit themselves because someone says it is impossible.

The OP gives a valid option. Only you can limit your potential.

That is the problem. Most people fail because they want to make money now. They don't want to build a business, that is too much like hard work.

I was thinking along the same lines with Troy.

Besides, who says you can't put together a quality product in a day?

If you know what you're talking about (and its in the IM niche for example), you can

1) Start the morning by writing the WSO sales page and submit for review
2) Create the actual product (maybe 5-6 hours for a pretty good product)
3) Put it up on the WSO section when the letter is approved.

Even if you don't want to spend the $40, you can always put it up for sale on your own domain, put a link in your sig and spend all day posting in the WF.

OR you can sell stuff on Craigslist :-p

I love reading the messages from people saying it can't be done, or it will take a long time.. NO IMAGINATION! Good, I am glad you people are out there, more money for those of us that can actually think out side the box, and find honest ways to make a buck.. That's right, honest ways to make a buck, I also read those messages too.. You know, the ones where people say you cannot make money in one day without using black hat methods...

Look, you can only do what your mind, and reality allow you to do.. If you didn't make a buck today, its your own darn fault..

How much money have the naysayers in this thread made when compared to the yeasayers?

There will always be more people saying "no you can't", when what they should be asking is "how can I?"

While Mike's original post may be simplified, you CAN make a product or offer a service AND sell it in one day...unless you think you can't...in which case you won't. But...what about two days? Three? Four? Thirty? What is the arbitrary cut-off point?

Hint: There isn't one.

If you can do it in 10 days, you could probably do it in 7 if you applied yourself. And if you could do it in 7, then I bet some serious focus would let you get in done in 4 days. Well, could you do a 4 day project in 2 days if you really had to? And...what about doing a 2 day project in just 1 day?

Don't get me wrong, you're most likely not going to create the next "War and Peace", but you CAN create or offer something of very good quality and value.

If you aren't selling something TODAY... you WON'T make money today!

And if you don't do it tomorrow either...well you get the idea.

So the sooner you figure out what that something is, and put it to market...your money making potential increases.

And the more often you do that, even better!

If you have to create a product in 24hrs, market it, and make a sale, what would it be?
If you invest in it IE: Domain, hosting, traffic... you must gain that + profit in order to be considered making money..

This all can be done with a FREE wordpress blog by the way..

You're right, but only in saying that you can't if you think you can't.

My belief is that EVERYODY has AT LEAST ONE profitable product in them right now. The trick is not to let go of the fear...and the excuses...and the procrastination...and...stop listening to the people who tell you it's impossible.

Is it guaranteed that you WILL make money in one day? Nope! But it's also not guaranteed that you will make money on a product that takes 90 days either.

To be clear, I'm not talking about some "get rich quick" theory here. That's entirely different. BUT...if you can make a decent product or offer a decent service that CAN put money in your pocket TODAY.

I know some people bristle at this, but let me stress that this is NOT get rich quick stuff. It IS "make some money now to prove to yourself that it's possible" stuff.

Here's just one small idea:

Make a list of useful resources, say 20 to 50 of them. Then write a brief description of each. Sell it for a few dollars and see what happens.

Is it guaranteed that you WILL make money in one day? Nope! But it's also not guaranteed that you will make money on a product that takes 90 days either.

To be clear, I'm not talking about some "get rich quick" theory here. That's entirely different. BUT...if you can make a decent product or offer a decent service that CAN put money in your pocket TODAY.

I know some people bristle at this, but let me stress that this is NOT get rich quick stuff. It IS "make some money now to prove to yourself that it's possible" stuff.

Here's just one small idea:

Make a list of useful resources, say 20 to 50 of them. Then write a brief description of each. Sell it for a few dollars and see what happens.

Thanks for taking the time to reply to my post and I do agree that it is possible to make money by writing a small report and selling it.

I just don't think that the average person can do it in one day. Not without a list, or paying for traffic.

But just doing the research and writing a small report yes, I do agree that with some determination, most of us could do it in one day.

Perhaps the point is to at least start today. Some people spend weeks trying to find ways to make money in "one day". Start writing your report today and if it takes two weeks or two months to finish it and make it a worthwhile product then you're still ahead of where you were when you started.

ah the vicious circle of IM.

If people actually did get off their butt and stick to one WSO, or one tactic, they would make some money. It takes time to master this thing and in all my time as a marketer I have never come across the holy grail.

The moment you realise this and throw those shiney objects to the curve you will see profits. But I think about 2% of people online do this.

It depends though - if you're a buyer you can always flip what you've bought or keep it on a recurring basis. I buy and also sell services which makes money all the time.

You could also say....

you want to make money today...
here it is.

-Look for a good selling (high gravity) product on maybe Clickbank
-do some good keyword research and select good keywords
-build sites optimized for the search engines to promote products

Get sales!

Not so simple but it works!
