Pretty Link Cloaking

INTERNET MARKETING

I am still new to internet marketing and thus new to link cloaking. I have pretty links plugin installed on my wordpress. Is that enough? there was a prompt to pay for pretty links pro. Is pretty links free only partially cloaking my links or not at all with the free version?

I read somewhere that pretty links are supposed to hide the "hop" line. mine doesn't show the ugly long list of numbers and letters, but mine does show my clickbanks id. is that truly cloaked or not at all? should i pay for the pro?

I wouldn't bother with the pro version of pretty links as it is against the TOS of various affiliate sites like Clickbank to cloak the link.

By cloak the link, I mean when a user clicks on a affiliate link it appears that they are still on your site as opposed to being redirected to the product site.

  oh i see. so the only reason you would cloak your own link is for something of your own that you don't mind cloaking.
