Internet marketing with limited knowledge

Hello warriorforum community,
As this is my first post, let me first introduce myself. My name is Bart, I'm 16 years old and live in the Netherlands. I've been interested in everything related to business for a long time and recently found internet marketing and I think that it could be just the right thing for me.

Well to get to my problem, I found myself not having a lot of knowledge about any subject and am not really passionate about anything at the moment either (although I am very enthusiastic about internet marketing). Because of this I am having a lot of trouble finding a niche and getting started.

I am absolutely willing to put in the effort to learn and gather knowledge about my niche and don't really care about the subject as the marketing is what interests me, not the subject.

I would be very grateful if any of you could help me start out,
Bart

Honestly Bart you are in a prime location being that you are 16 and already passionate about internet marketing. You also have an advantage over many of us because there's a bunch of niches that most of us older guys don't know a thing about. I'm not that old (26) but I still don't know half of the sites that kids visit, shows that they watch, or what the buzz is in high schools.

That's a totally untapped market that you can create niche's around. I'd begin to look at your peers and see what they are interested in, and begin going in that direction. Keep in mind that you have a ton of time to make mistakes and learn from them, thats part of internet marketing. Its better to get started sooner rather than later even if you don't have the 'perfect' niche the first time. Your goal should be to learn the ropes first anyways before diving into that perfect niche.

@RevSEO Thanks for your quick reply! One question though. Do you think that the things Dutch teenagers are interested in are the same things as American teenagers are interested in? I ask this as I prefer to get into the US market instead of the Dutch one as it [The US market] is way bigger. Therefore there will probably be a bigger group for me to target if I get into the US market.
