I started a blog a short time ago. The domain was registered 5/4/2011.

I have done a lousy job with it and I am not happy in the least. I was thinking about deleting all the posts (less than ten) and starting over.

Will this cause me any problems with the missing links as far as Google is concerned? None of the pages appear in Google, even back to page 100, but the site has been indexed since shortly after I started it. I have posted links using Scrapebox and Article Marketing Robot.

It's possible that you could get crawl errors if you delete the posts. You should be able to type site:yourdomain.com to see what Google has indexed. If you have webmaster tools installed for the site it will tell you of any crawl errors. If you have some, just 301 redirect them to a different page.

You have nothing to worry about. If you feel those posts don't do you justice just delete them. Or better still, rewrite them.

Sounds like it's way too soon to apply automation to a 10 page site. I don't really practice hyper backlinking but I though you had to wait 2 or 3 months before going turbo.

I trust you did a site:yourBlog.com search to verify any indexed pages.

Dont be too worried but you have to check if your posts are indexed yet or not. Remember that blogging is all about fresh and quality content (not duplicate).

Check to see which pages are indexed and then rewrite them. Change the titles and the other metas. If you have appropriate ones, add an image to each post.

Then make new posts with links to your old ones so that they get re-spidered and updated in the SERPS.

I am indexed for some of the oddest terms and when I click the link it says Posts Tagged 'keyword' with a title of some sort and no article. This is not a post or page of mine, yet it is listed somewhere in Google.

I think probably my best bet is to rewrite the sticky home page and bury the rest of the articles as best as I can. I am not worried about people reading the articles, just about getting the blog listed in a SERP position that it will generate traffic and MAYBE make me a couple of dollars.

    Thanks everyone for your help.

Indexed is more like when you type in site:mydomain.com and see the list of pages come up. Some are going to be your tag pages or your categories, but some are going to be the posts and pages.

If you add more content you don't need to rewrite those other ones, but each post does have its own URL which cannot be buried. Your blog page can move those old posts down, but they still have their own individual URL's.

I wouldn't worry about starting over, just keep going. No need to try to change the past, just adjust for the future instead.

As a "recovering perfectionist" I agree with PPC-Coach - just move forward - keep adding new fresh content - not just spun stuff and you'll be headed in the right direction.

I would not start over until you are willing to ONLY add ORIGINAL and QUALITY content to your site, who cares if you get ranked and when a real human gets to your site and is not impressed.

I always say this, forget the software when you are new, it will hurt you more than help you. No, instead, hand written, quality work will make you money, hand over fist.

I've been doing marketing for over five years now and I don't use any content software, it's useless...
