I want to learn about article marketing

Hi everyone. I don't know much about article marketing. Can you please help me for further information? What shoul I do first or what is the most important rules for article marketing?

    Good grammer,good unique content and keyword selection are very important.

    Also building backlinks to the articles.

    Post article on your own site first,before submitting to directories.

    If you do a search for article marketing in this forum,then you will find lots of info and help.

    I think what he means is to read Alexa's posts and threads - she is the one to ask about article marketing.

    There is no need to spend any money finding out the right way to go about article marketing - everything that you need is available for free - including valuable advice from Warriors.

    Use the 'search' function at the top of the page for lots of interesting and informative threads but take particular note of any threads that Alexa is involved in.

    You can participate of the blog discussions at EzineArticles’ blog – they give you many article writing lessons.

    There are many places online that give you free lessons about article writing.

    Read everything you can, and then start writing and submitting your first articles so that you may see how everything works into practice. Begin with EZA because it still is a top article directory besides having lost its ranking after Google’s dramatic search algorithm changes.

    I’m having more website traffic from Google after these changes because my content is original and helpful. Now good content is being rewarded with a good ranking and a flood of new visitors.

    Therefore, focus on learning how to write well. Be informative, and really helpful, so that you may really get the attention of your audience. Use many keyword variations instead of repeating the same keyword all the time. Write for human beings, not for search engines. After writing your article, see if you can change a few words and use good keywords in their place.

      It's good practice to use and some of the other article directories such as articlebase,goarticles etc. Don't forget to use the resource box to get some backlinks. As well keep the good quality articles for your site and use the others for the directories, as well you can do some keyword research and try to market long tail keywords with your articles, that will bring you tons of traffic and relatively profit.

        I'll throw in a random tip, here, while it's in my mind: don't confuse "article marketing" with "article directory marketing" (the difference between the two is covered in this post from earlier today, I think ... so I'm just mentioning it while I remember). Specifically, do not depend on article directories either for their own traffic or for their own backlinks, because that's a path to frustration and disillusionment, and that isn't what "article marketing" is all about, at all.
