Releasing spun content before site is indexed

I recently started doing some backlinking to a new domain-- mostly submitting my first couple of articles in spun format to blog networks. Then it dawned on me that my site isn't actually indexed yet, and these spun articles are possibly going to be showing up on Google prior to the original version. The content is spun pretty thoroughly, but I'm concerned that Google might potentially believe that the articles on my main site are duplicates. Maybe I should just rewrite? Going forward, should I wait for any further articles that I submit to the site to be indexed by Google before submitting to blog networks?

I always wait until the site is fully indexed before beginning heavy backlinking. The most I do is Social Bookmarks ..and that's just to help with indexing.

I'm actually doing some social bookmarking myself for the same purpose. Blah, I wish Google would hurry up a bit..

I'm going to be dripping out articles on a regular basis, and I was kinda hoping to be able to do the heavy duty backlinking fairly quickly after each was released (trying to make my whole site creation and backlinking process really efficient), but I'm getting the impression that's not the best option here.

Actually, I'm a little hesitant to even use my original articles in spun format to be honest, though I think that's what most people do. Getting a little paranoid of Google, though maybe it's all for naught..
