The creator of 'The Diet Solution Program' sells THOUSANDS of copies PER DAY. I think that particular product is a $47 product? Correct me if Im wrong.

No doubt my brother, but what also happens to a lot of IMers, as well as people in any occupation, is they listen to the naysayers, the "you can't do that" group of people.

That is when they are allowing someone else's beliefs to become their reality.

If we let other people's opinions hold us back, the wheel never would have been invented.

We must remember that we MAKE our reality every day.
If we allow someone else to dictate our feelings and achievements, we are sad individuals indeed.

...And then there are the people like you who EASILY fall into the "I make 50/k a day and you can too, just buy my course" traps. Its VERY easy to say you make 50k/day, but I like to see proof before I believe it(and no, that cheap sales video posted to a Clickbank product is not proof).

Also, the guy wo mentioned he came across an "affiliate billionaire from time to time" is simply an outright liar.

FACT: There is NOT A SINGLE PERSON WHO EVER BECAME A BILLIONAIRE FROM AFFILIATE MARKETING.

That program lied to you. The income sources of billionaires is well documented. Working as an affiliate has never made anyone a billion dollars. Whoever said that is an outright liar and should be ashamed.

To be honest i never heard of an Affiliate BILLIONAIRE.
But there definitely guys out there thats pulling in 100k per
DAY with affiliate marketing.

Alot of these guys you will never hear about because they
are so UNDERGROUND!!!. There not looking for fame.

There are many underground marketers doing really well. However, lets not confuse revenue claims with actual profits. If you're breaking even with media buys while building your list and putting customers into your funnel, you're doing well.

I agree, many of us need to hear it again and again and remember to follow the blueprint.

If we failed it is very often because we changed the path instead doing what we learned.

Pretty good starter tips. Thanks for the help...like mentioned before, I have heard some of these tips before. Although I am currently still new to this, a good thing to mention is that you can get :

[free] Auto Responders (that work good- you start out free then eventually you upgrade)
[free] Capture Pages =web pg (they work the same start free then upgrade)

Like Mr. Mccarthy stated it is VALID to gain emails to further convince your prospects into up and coming programs you have.

Also Tracking is Always Good to track all of your efforts, you know which areas to work or better yet which areas are working best for you.

When you start creating your own products there is a steep learning curve... not to mention researching, creating and then selling your product.

Instead... find a product you admire with an affiliate program. Learn how to sell this first... because you're going to need those skills if you want to sell your own product later on.

When you know you can sell this affiliate product... now you know the market is lucrative and have selling skills to pay the bills.

2. Capture Data

Get ahead of 90% of the other affiliates out there by capturing data (ie. email addresses) so you can follow-up with your visitors.

Don't wait to look back at the thousands of hours and dollars you've invested in traffic you let walk away from your site without a sniff of an opt-in form.

Short reports and freebies are a good way to tempt the opt-in.

3. Think laterally about different ways to monetize your list of subscribers.

Sure they might have visited your website to save money on their car insurance... something you've already provided links to.

But if they're interested in saving money on their auto insurance... why not their home, life and health insurance?

What else might interest them?

4. You can go laser targeted... or you can target a broad demograph.

Sure we're all familiar with promoting very niche type products (think garage and chicken coop plans) but health, wealth and relationships are always biggies.

You don't have to be laser targeted since pretty much everyone is interested. Target markets with thousands and even millions of interested parties.

I think the big sellers on Clickbank confirm this to an extent. This is particularly important if you're using paid traffic (vs. SEO) since you can put banners that have mass appeal on websites and forums to get your traffic.

5. Get Ready to Change...

Products come and go... adverts, banners and even the products can burn out so get ready to change. You see this a lot in the IM niche and the constant influx of new, updated and version 2.0 systems.

6. Use pre-sell pages and test everything....

The DVDs are from the System Seminar... this is a few final pointers from Ken McCarthy and the $50K a Day affiliate he'd invited along.

Interestingly this affiliate was saying he see's much bigger fish... even an affiliate billionaire from time to time...

Much is from paid traffic but I thought all the tips above were useful for everyone using affiliate marketing and thinking about getting started.

there are all good points but i highly agree with point #2
i see and hear about many different super affiliates
making 10's of thousands per DAY but alot of them are
sending traffic straight to the vendor and not creating
there own page so they could get the visitors email.

Alot of these guys are spending 10's of thousands of
dollars on traffic like PPC, Banner ADS, Text ADS and
Media Buying.

The best affiliate marketing tip I got was the closer you infuse affiliate marketing with big biz direct response principles, the more successful the business will become.

One good example was Luke Sample talking about how he combined telemarketing for CPA offers to boost conversion rates together with a supremely elaborate back-end. he now has enough cash flow to pump much. much extra into buying traffic.

The top IMers like Filsaime and Brunson have been using this for years. But in the affiliate space, not so much.

That's a free tip right there.

Yes mate I did buy that bulls*** and Ken McCarthy who runs The System Seminar has one of the soundest reputations you'll ever hear of.

To earn that kinda money you'd have to have nerves of steel literally spending tens, maybe hundreds of thousands of dollars per day on traffic.

Anyway... true or false... the summary above (IMHO) is a very good outline. I personally believe it's easier to make money as a product creator first BUT then they'd be notes on my opinion... not the affiliate component of The System Seminar.

This is true from a technological point of view, but marketing itself hasn't changed for over a 100 years.

How many times have people declared the death of the sales letter? It doesn't matter if a sales letter is written on parchment or digitally delivered via a website, it's still a sales letter and it'll always work.

Every once in a while you hear someone say banner advertising is dead. The next thing you know, someone makes it vibrate, and BAM, banners are back.

My point is, be careful when people tell you something doesn't work or things are changing. Do your own testing.

And that other extra video was pretty cool too.

I know a guy in Austria, that is very modest, shy single guy...who spends about $1000 on traffic a day. Yes! but he is raking it in and has and awesome funnel to, and make a shipload of money.

He also does not own a car, and rides his push bike to the shops to get his groceries. It is always the way with these people. Their thinking is totally differnt.

If you never hear about them, how do you know how much they are making?

Having said that, if you can get the traffic, you can make all kinds of money. But getting the kind of traffic to generate that kind of money doesn't come cheap.

Speaking of 5 figure days, Rush Limbaugh sold 1776 cases of tea today in about 5 minutes, for about $44,000 in revenue. He was offering free overnight shipping though, which means he most likely lost money on every case he sold.

There a few of these marketers that come and speak at these seminars
like Glenn Davis or someone like Aymen of Arbitrage Conspiracy.

Aymen was another person making 50k to 100k a day he created a course called Arbitrage Conspirtacy and he was ONLY 25 YEARS OLD!!

They all talk about there is community of other undergrounds marketers making more
than they do....YES making more money then them. Those other guys like i mentioned before, you will never hear about.
