When it comes to quality PLR, is more better?

I'm not referring to PLR bundles that sell 10,000 for $5. What I'm thinking about is creating a bundle that involves...

-an ebook
-an audio version of said ebook
-blog posts (10 or so)
-articles (10 or so)
-spun articles
-possibly even videos

Say I'm dealing with a niche that has never-ending problems, like smoking cessation, depression, anxiety, weight loss, and getting out of debt. Do you guys think it would make more sense to do a small article pack or offer a wider array of related PLR material?

My initial thoughts are to go with more. It would offer more flexibility to the customer and several different modalities they can use for reaching their customers. Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks for your time.

-Tim

More, definitely - I don't buy article packs anymore (there's enough PLR on enough topics out there already).

As long as the quality was good, I would definitely buy a bundle with related material though.

I'd say more, you're trying to provide the most value you can, the more value you offer, the more valuable you are!

Agree, this is the way possible to take advantages with your PLR business model. Add MORE value.

In the past I've sold small packs (10 articles), slightly bigger packs (25 articles or one report/ebook), and even "mega" packs (50+ pages) - and the mega packs ALWAYS outperformed the smaller packs, especially if there was a good price on it.

I must admit from a consumer point of view I'm much more attracted to "more for less" too, so I can understand the appeal. I like getting a bunch of good content that I can split up and use in different ways, especially if the content is good quality so I don't have to do a ton of work to make it usable.

The kind of pack you are thinking of with audio and other goodies I think would do very well. If you're looking for something else to add to the package, consider email content, maybe some pre-sell articles on related affiliate products?

Not that you need to add anything else but it was one thing I noticed you didn't have on your list that might sweeten the pot a bit!

I always put out my PLR in reports or ebooks. That way people can use it in one piece, as a section of a larger work, or they can tear it apart as they want. As far as a package like the one you are suggesting.........

It's not a bad idea - I'd call it a niche starter kit at that point if I put all of that into it.

      Thanks for the tips!

Once I'm diving into a niche, it's not difficult for me to create related products. Once the research is done, the words and ideas flow easily. Might as well create more while I'm working at it.

Hey, I think I found my niche! Thanks WF!

I own ebooks-land.com that is a plr shop and i have a lot of different products but what I find most is that the premium products that come with articles or a followup message set sell a lot better.

It is all down to what the individual customer is looking for.

I think small article packs as well as bundle packs can be beneficial. It really depends on what your buyer needs on who he/she plans to use the content. When just breaking into a niche, the buyer may prefer a bundle pack so he/she can get up and running quickly. Marketers already in the niche, however, may be wanting articles only so they can provide more content to their site visitors.

      Mmmmm... more good information.

Good plan as well. I might as well nail everything I can while I'm working on the niche.

Very exciting stuff. Thanks for all the responses!

        Hey there CoverGraphix,

I can agree with that. It would definitely complete the package.

One thing I hate is cheap-looking graphics so I'll have to deal with that. Either go the outsourcing route or shell out a bit of cash.

Now I may be biases, but to me what is important would be the cover graphics.

I buy a lot of PLR from a warrior here, who makes very high quality PLR ebooks.

But I wont even put them on my sites for "free" unless they have a quality cover graphic.

I like to do 2 thigns with PLR ebooks.

    1) Give it away in exchange for growing my list (squeeze page)

    2) Sell it.

Without a quality looking graphic (aka cover) people wont even opt-in for free to get the PLR book, because they assume the quality is the same as the cover. (People really do judge a book by its cover)

Incidentally, that is how I got into photoshop myself.

I think a perfect PLR package hits one niche (like the quit smoking niche) and it has:

Feeder product (something that's a teaser to give away for free)
Ebook premium product (what you sell)
Articles (for blog or article sites to promote you funnel)
Nice cover graphics (1 for feeder and different 1 for ebook)

and if you really want to add to the quality, a nice mini site added in with header and footer.

Now that is a quality product that I can buy without thinking twice.

I recently purchase a stress package that came with videos, "stress relief" audios, articles, and a report and this was a great package. I would purchase more of these if quality packages were provided like this.

    Business in a Box!

If you want to go the whole route, you can do a few more things.

    1) You can get a reseller account and offer to set up the whole thing for complete novices. You set up the site, the downloads the Autoresponder account, the payment buttons, delivery etc Then sell it as a complete BIAB. (Outsource the site set up. Make a video of you doing it one time, then outsource the whole thing to someone at $10 per set up) With this option, you can even offer to update the site with fresh content each month and list in directories and build links (outsource this part to) for a monthly subscription fee.

    2) Create as above, but sell on Flippa.com as a BIAB. Make graphics for each version and domain you register and sell them one at a time. I have sold sites this way for $300+ with NO revenue, as long as you do not claim them to be unique content, you can rebrand and resell. Create 12 products and release them in rotation for higher profits.

    All the best
