Hello fellow warriors i have a client who wanted me to test his facebook game now he wants me to do research on zynga and their marketing plans , how and using what methods zinga is getting millions of players any idea`s ? and if you are at my place what you will suggest to client

I would do it that way:

facebook ads for the game (it's a fb dev application, right?) + facebok fan page with the game (with static iframe tab + viral features)

Hi,

And, among other things,
- Shoot some ingame videos and post them on Youtube and reference them on the FB Page.
- Start using AdWords and bid on Zynga keyword if that is allowed in the target country(ies).
- Create some social proof, also on twitter and the likes.

Launching a new facebook game is incredibly expensive as the fb game keywords have heavy competition. The best thing you can do for yourself is to align yourself with fan sites like farmville freak and GiftAuto and pay for banner advertising
