  • You go to the website Digg and you suggest your website or blog as the link. Then you draw people to the Digg to try to get it on the first page. If it makes the first page a lot of people will see it and click on it. At least that is the theory. There are many ways to draw traffic there such as buying it on Fiverr or other sites.

  • Digg's users can submit links they think are worthwhile. The Digg community can vote on the story by clicking on “Digg” it or “Bury” it. If you get the largest number of votes then you get the most popular page/front page. Thus, if the community likes your page this can drive a huge amount of traffic to your site in just a relatively short period of time.

  • oh ok i see... but im just wondering.. about getting the exposure? how does it work?? is it as easy as...
i post a page... it would be seen my many? so when they view the page? if they like it they digg? or do i have to first promote the page myself?
  • how is it possible for a guy who just posted a digg 25 mins ago... have about 80 diggs ITS NOT FAIR!!! guys i need help bad!!
  • You only really get a good deal of visitors from Digg if your story hits the front page.

Try reading up a little on digg marketing, you'll find some services too:

    • I would also try StumbleUpon, they are actually who I prefer over Digg and I have gotten tons of traffic to my site and my blogs using this.
  • I think Mark hit the nail on the head when he said "Digg Community".

You have to think of the people who use Digg as a community who view each others interesting stories and pass them on (ie. Digg them). You can obviously get a lot of traffic from simply submitting interesting stuff with strong headlines.

But like this forum... people follow people... so if you integrate and use Digg as it was intended you'll build a following of people who see you as a the 'go to guy' for good information on their subject.

  • i dont get it too..

so if u can buy visitors then ur site can be sold for more?

doesnt make sense.. the price of the site should be base on how many constant visitors and not a one time of visitors.
  • i see so basically the headline have to be good so that people would read them?? so i suppose the exposure should be minimal.. therefore its going to be very tough??
  • It has to be good content that interests people so they read it and suggest it to others. It has a HUGE community, lots of eyeballs there. therefore if you write something that is of interest it gets seen by more and more people. It's a viral social media model in that sense. You just have to get it in front of interested people.
