upgrade or not

I am thinking of upgrading my DNforums.com to platinum. They sent me a 50% till jan 5 notice. Should I jump in? Is it worth it?

Not sure if this is a good investment of time and money.

  • With the platinum membership, you can sell domains whereas with a gold membership you can't. If you have a good portfolio of domains and wish to sell them, then it's definitely worth it. It's lifetime, so it's even more worth it. If you're serious about this, you might want to get the exclusive membership which gets you access to..er..exclusive parts of the site.

    If you're just interested in expanding your portfolio and not selling, or if you're just going to poke around and leave, then you shouldn't invest it in.

      It didn't work out for me when I upgraded 6-8 months ago.

      a) (generally) I didn't find that the info I looked for and found was helpful enough.

      b) I found it a disappointing place to try and sell domains, the one time I tried.

      BUT...it wasn't expensive either, so no ill-will here. Just feeding back.
