What exactly does the "pending commissions" mean?

See Screenshot ==> 2008-12-30_0312

I know it says "pending client payment", but to me that's really vague.

Especially since I have $350 in pending commissions.

Please only reply if you know EXACTLY what that means because
you have used or are currently using Infusionsoft as an affiliate
or a vendor.

    I see you asked for infusion soft users only but since a lot of affiliate software has the same type of system / messages, you'll get me 2 cents worth anyway.
    It might help someone else.

    Was the product sold on payments?
    You won't be paid a commission on something until the buyer makes the payment.
    Perhaps the product was sold on a payment plan.

    The other scenario that would show pending commissions is if a product has a guarantee period. Some systems will show pending commissions on a product until the guarantee period is over (30 day money back guarantee).

    If the buyer doesn't ask for their money back in that guarantee period then the pending commission is "released" so the vendor can pay you.
