I just read this and I have a feeling it will not be good news for Internet Marketers...

"The concept of Google's patent is rather simple. It describes various types of databases, including image, characteristics, link, rating and "other" databases that are tied to comparison and rating modules, which conclude that a certain document that has been pre-determined to be annoying will be considered annoying in the future - and documents similar to pre-determined annoying documents will be considered generally annoying as well. The characteristics of the patent are similar to that of a spam filter."

Well, that's really annoying. I think I'll hit the "I'm annoyed" button when I land on Google's home page and see if I can sink it. lol

I really just want relevant results returned when I search and I prefer to do my own thinking about what is and is not annoying.
