I got a visit from a term I was certain I was not on page one or two for and I noticed it came from page 18. I have no idea how anybody could have searched through 18 pages of info to get to me.

What's the deepest page you ever got a hit from?

    are you sure its from organic search results? maybe that visitor came from some referral sites or from some backlinks you created?

    It was definitely a search. I have put two and two together to figure out that this was a fellow IMer somewhere out there in a similar niche who was likely scouring Google for places to manually comment because I got a comment with a link on the same page and it made sense.

      Ah yes ... well worked out: that would account for it.

      It's interesting, sometimes, seeing the bizarrely unforeseeable search terms through which people have found your sites, isn't it?!

    Wow crazy indeed! I'll double check my stats on one of my sites but I'm pretty sure I've received similar visits with similar motives (blog comments for links).

    I am sure you are not in a competitive niche. Person looking for that information decided to look for it no matter what. I am sure you can convert these people into buyers as I think your niche is in low competition.

    This is accidental. Here's how it happens according one of my customs......

    (I do this very rarely) When I don't get enough results form first 3-4 pages, I go to results page existing in out of the way (like 20,25,36), and click on some link while expecting nothing except hopeless fortune.

    As I guess, there are some people like me.
