"Hey man, that is so right." "Fear, is the great de-railer of each of us to achieve success".

I can think of many times in my life when I've accomplished something by employing that attitude.

Example, when I was learning to fly I flew a Piper Cherokee 140. That's it. Just that airplane. I knew it's pre-flight, speeds, stall characteristics, fuel management, avionics, etc.

When the day arrived to take my private pilot check ride, the one that signs you off as an official sky guy, the check airman (who was a woman)
presented me with a Cessna 172. I was terrified!

I had never been in one. Let alone fly it. So, I thought to myself, "screw it, I don't care". And applied what I had learned in the Piper, to the venerable Cessna.

It wasn't until after the she had signed me off that I informed her that I'd never flown one before and she said casually, "they both fly about the same anyway, right". "That's when I knew I had formed the right attitude for that flight because my fears were just that, unfounded fear.

Looking back over the years with about 1500 hours flying various types of airplanes I see that moment plain as day and it's almost funny to me now.

My biggest problem to overcome today is one of selection. I can't seem to find the right internet business model to dive into that just feels right.

I'll just keep testing until I find it.

Thanks for the post and link.
