Hi fellow warriors,

I posted a thread but got no response hence am
trying one more time...

I'd like to know when you have posted a thread and
your question/thread has been answered...

How do you go about deleting it?

Please advise. Thanks

Best Regards,
Mason

I don't think you can delete your own thread once another member responds. You can delete the words in your post... but not the thread.

It might be that the threads can only be deleted by the OP for a certain time after they are started. Thereafter, it's up to admin to delete them. I know some forums only let you edit your posts for something like 20 minutes after you post.

And yes, once it's received responses, you can't delete it.

Indeed... you can't do it yourself Mason.

If it helps... you can modify the TITLE though, I believe!

Really? Other Warriors have deleted their own posts.

        Let's give it a go.

OK--- I copied my post first (repasted above) just in case it worked... and it did.

To delete your own message (post), go in to Edit and at the bottom of the little posting window you'll see a Delete button. Hit that, then go Advanced. You will get a query if you want to delete this message. Enter a reason, and hit Delete. Post gone!

I did duplicate posts yesterday because of an internet glitch, and was able to delete one of them.

I doubt you could delete a thread, because it's not just your own posts you'd be deleting.
