Facebook likes / twitter re-tweets box counts ?

I run a print website and am considering adding 'facebook like' , 'twitter re-tweet' , and google +1 to my website.
I like the idea of showing the count boxes on these, but given that it is a 'small business' the traffic is limited. with the count boxes, do they display on a 'per page' or 'site count' level ? ... or is there a way to force/override that you guys are aware so that it is site level ?
