Advice on how to get from level 0 to level 1?

Hi everyone. I'm a noob when it comes to internet marketing and whatnot. I mean I really don't know my way around. Now, I'm really interested to venture into the world of money making through accessing the internet because of countless research I have been doing for the past month. I want to invest on something that helps a beginner (like a newborn baby kind of beginner) like me get on his feet. I'm a nurse and I want to at least find my fortune on the internet. And that someday I hope I can join your ranks. So do you have any suggestions what I should do?
