I hear this a million times before and the real answer is stop what you're doing and focus only on ONE thing! You are overloading yourself with too many information at once and probably your desktop is filled with unread ebooks too.

Find a niche and start there.

There are so many methods out there.
Your own site/blod network is one good method. It works for long term. Stick with it. Make a plan and do it. Wealth won't come in one night. There's also other method that can kick in cash in very short time, depend on your knowledge and your will. You've looking for the suitable one for you for long enough time. Just pick one and do it.

Making blog networks cost a lot of time and money, compared to some other methods i know. Don't worry, the reward compensates your works ... always.
We have public domain guru here. Cut off your content cost, without sacrificing quality.
For low quality content you can use generated or rewritten/spun content.
Learn wordpress, you can do everything with it.
Many free traffic tactics shared around here.
Sites/blog networks architecture.
How soon the reward come depend on your current knowledge, do what you're good at and oursource other stuffs.

I would cancel the VPS for now and switch to a Hostgator Baby account if I were you - $7.95 a month. You can host unlimited domains as add-on domains.

The exception to this would be if you plan to flip the sites, i.e. if you are building them to sell. In that case you need a reseller account but you can still get this for half the price of your VPS.

Then stop spending on anything other than your hosting, unless for something you are going to put to use RIGHT NOW e.g. a domain you are going to actually use today.

The way to start a network of sites/blogs is to build the first one and get it making money, then (only then) build the second, if you still want to :-)

A coach will not do the work for you.

I remember when I was in a position when I had no money to start a business or way to make money. I was looking through books and magazines for my answers and only believe the best way to make income was to figure out how to market online to the masses. I found a magazine called millionaire blueprints. They had a success story of a real person who actual makes millions of dollars online through information products. I have been following this marketer for many years. He provides great details about getting started in online marketing. Your able to get free access to live weekly teleseminars, audio and video tutorials to where you should have no reason not to be putting checks into your account. Richard if I were you I'd stop spending money on things that weren't making me money. This includes:

-Canceling all membership site subscriptions.
-Getting rid of that $50 a month VPS server.
-Getting refunds on products that I haven't used or haven't helped me provided that you are still within their money-back guarantee period.


After I had done that I would then look at what I could afford. You will need to invest a little money into this to get a return (quickly anyway).

Look at what you earn or have each month. Then write up a budget. Here are somethings you might need to spend on:

-Anywhere from $7.99-$25 a month for hostgator hosting (depending on what package you get).
-$19 a month for getresponse autoresponder.
-Promotion. You decide how much to spend on this. Even $25-$50 a month on this could be helpful. For me personally, for one site, I try to spend $30-$40 a week on promotion. Sometimes my site doesn't need that much promotion, so I spend as and when, but never spend above the budget I set myself.

Write down your monthly budget and stick to it.

Once you know how much you can spend, write up a plan. Are you going to use blogs? Static sites? List building etc etc. Decide on what you want to do and then set some specific goals:

For example:

I want to make x amount of dollars in six months time.
-Work out how much you need to make a month to achieve this.
-Find out how much you need to make a week to do this.
-Then find out what you need to make a day.

Then, ask yourself how you're going to do this. How much traffic do you need? Think about conversion rates etc. What business model will you be using? Will you drive a lot of traffic to your site and charge for advertising space or are you going to try and sell to your visitors?

Write down a plan. Remember to set a budget you can afford and stick to it.

Also, if you're monthly budget for the month is $50, don't expect to make $1 million in 6 months time. I am sure it is doable but its a little unrealistic if you don't know what you're doing.


Heres a little suggestion/idea for you:

Choose a niche:
All I would do for this is think about something you are interested in or know a little something about. Then go to clickbank, go to the marketplace and do a search for products in that category. For example, just do a search for the most popular products in "health and fitness" category.
Look at one of the top selling products and go to their sales page. Get their url (without the affiliate link) and go to:

Click the option that says "website content" and get the keywords that site is targeted for. Find some good keywords based on traffic volume and look for long-tail keywords which might be a bit less competitive. This tool also lets you download a list of keywords you add. You can download it as a text document.

The website
Setup a wordpress blog using fantastico. Do some research in your niche around the keywords you have found. Write 10-20 blog posts. Schedule them to come out over a week, maybe two or three articles a day.
Remember to setup up your blog with a nice looking theme, some good seo plugins etc.

Autoresponder

Set it up and make it nice and visible on your blog.
Make a few posts/pages which are like squeeze pages. Add a video, or a short bit of text encouraging the reader to subscribe to your newsletter. Put the opt-in in the main body of the text.
(Try just getting them to add their email instead of their name as well. I have heard from some big affiliates and the boy frank kern himself that it leads to higher opt-ins, though I can't confirm this yet from my experience as I am yet to try it.)

In your autoresponder series offer a free report. Make it a report based on the keywords you found earlier. Make sure it goes some way to solving your audience's problems.

Alongside this you should also promote the clickbank product you found earlier on in your list and other clickbank products. Mix good content with good promotions. Make sure its what your list wants, and don't go crazy on promos. Build a relationship etc etc. Try and stay conversational, as if emailing friends.


Articles
Write some articles based on the keywords you discovered earlier. Drive traffic to the posts/pages on your blog which are acting as squeeze pages.

Make sure the articles are of high quality. Don't give away too much info, but enough to leave the reader satisfied. Remember your strong calls to action. You want them to click through to your squeeze page.

Submit articles to the usual suscpects: ezinearticles, goarrticles etc.

Backlinks
Build some!
-Blog commenting
-Web directories
-Upload some cool vids on youtube etc
-Forum signatures
-Articles
-Free webpages (squidoo, blogger etc)


From there on out, keep adding content to your blog, email list, and keep submitting articles. Grow your blog and business from there.

I have left out a fair bit of detail, and this is not comprehensive but you asked for a start and I think the above qualifies as one. Its the best I could do off the top of my head.
