win32 surefef-e rtk Virus Picked up at ShareaSale

While browsing Shareasale today I picked up the win32 surefef-e rtk virus while viewing stats.

The first time I was viewing stats my machine shut down and this virus loaded.

I was not sure where it came from as I had several windows open.

So I got it all cleaned off and updated Avast. This evening I was checking stats and back at Shareasale and Avast triggered a warning for this virus again.

Can any shareasale users verify?

    I have ShareASale and I can almost guarantee you that you got a false positive.

    Same virus twice in same day trigged at the same place. Not a false positive. You would have need to seen my registry entries... the virus was there... annoying.

    But I appreciate the response. It could have come from a vendor site within the Shareasale network as I was looking at both my stats and new programs and I tend to open a lot of windows at once.
