Why Is This Happening ?

Hi
Any wordpress experts in the forum who could answer me this question.

I am statring a new wordpress site and am creating my about,disclose,contact pages etc.
As i do this they are appearing in the tab as follows

About-name of site, contact-name of site etc

All i want is the about, contact and not the dash name of site.

Anyone help

    Simple. Go to the pages you created and change the title names to the shorter ones you indicated. If the page names still show up with dashes, I would need to view your configuration to provide a more adequate answer.

      Hi
      Thanks that doesnot work.
      When i delete the dash followed by name of site and update page
      it now comes back as about | name of site, very strange

    Troubleshooting 101:

    Switch to the default theme. Do you still have the unwanted behaviour? - If not, it's your theme.
