There seems to be a few affiliate training courses that have come out recently that teach its buyers to use domain names that have the full product name in it. For example if you want to promote the "Sony sxl 9000 webcam" in organic search, these teachers recommend to buy the domain "sonysxl9000webcam.com" and use it to create your affiliate content site.
Is this legally sensible, or will Sony soon be calling the domain owner?
Yes, I know I should not take legal advice from a forum. I am just looking for anecdotal evidence that supports or rejects that method.
