Anyone Can Give Some Advice To Someone Wanting To Do Data Entry Online?

I have a friend who is on the verge of signing up for a data entry job and is asking for my advice.

I have never done anything of this sort before and think they are a waste of time but I want to seek advice from you guys before I get back to her.

So anyone who have any information please let me know.

Thank you Very Much

Tell your friend to be very very careful. I'd say about 90% of the data entry online jobs are scams. If he/she has to pay to get the job, it's almost certainly a scam.

Tell your friend to join wahm.com and go to the telecommuting message boards, under telecommuting moms she will find all of the legit info she needs.

  • I would say, look at elance or guru.com

But like everyone else suggested, more often than not, they are bound to be scam.

But really, why data entry? Why not spend time on something that earns more money? Brings more freedom? Allows you to take more from the work you are doing?

    Data entry? na na .....

C'mon, humans are much smarter than this. If I could make a computer that has been designed to do just this data entry thing, all data entry folks would be out of business ( now, please, don't ask me if I made such a thing yet, I DIDN'T)

Forget data entry, try better stuff.

I agree that most so called "data entry" online jobs are scams. I once bought a product/program about data entry that was recommended by someone whom I thought I could trust. In the sales letter they mentioned about working for large companies, filling out forms to enter information, and getting paid for selling their products. Anyone care to venture a guess as to what that involved?

Well, it turned out the "big companies" were Clickbank and other affiliate networks, and the "filling out forms" were actually creating ads (yeah, you have to fill out forms and enter information, allright!) either PPC or free ads to promote the various products, and you get paid as an affiliate when you make a sale!

So the program was legitimate as far as what they taught but their sales practices were definitely deceptive. In my opinion, at least.

Please be careful. I have been scammed by these Data Entry positions. All I ended up doing was paying money for nothing. There are some legitimate companies out there, I just have not been able to find any of them Take care!
