Is AM a long-lasting Job?

I started being an affiliate manager about 4 months ago and have been super busy since. I had this rough plan of going back to school and stuff, but with this super busy job, I have little time to do any study or preparations. The more time I spent on this job, the less I want to do anything else; it feels like you just get lazier everyday and not have the will to pursue anything anymore. I like this job but right now, it's confusing myself of what I really want for my life now.
Is AM a long-lasting job? Can I count on it long-term? Any advise?
Thank you!

Are you able to scalp back your workload a bit so you can go to the school of your choice?

So where do you really your life to be heading to?

BTW, do you really like you job being an AM? I'm not judging......just noticing from your words.

It's as long lasting a job as anything else, IMO.

And if you made time to do this, you can make time to go to school. Maybe you don't want to go to school but feel you "should"?

I know what you mean though, I have been so busy with IM that it's hard for me to spend time on another work related task--but I hate that other thing so it's not hard for me to go 'oops, too busy!'

Being an Affiliate Manager is not easy. But if you are really interested and eager to be an AM, there's nothing wrong with it. You can be an AM forever, depends on how you approach and face it.

I don't know if being an Affiliate manager is for the long term I guess it's up to you to make it that way, seeing as you really enjoy and get a lot out of it.

However I have to say that you may not realize it but you are learning not only on the job but about life and work . This is a very valuable experience and not to be sniffed at. An awful lot of youngsters (making an asumption here), simply don't get a chance to gain experience in a world of very high employment ( at least in the UK and much of Europe). So don't worry about it, do what you can it all counts in the end. You could resit exams.

In the end of the day you might feel that school is not so important as you're already earning a decent wage etc.... You could of course go back to school at a later date.

Hope this helps make things a little clearer.

    One word for you, "outsource"

    and here's a couple more once you've mastered that;

    "scale up"

If you want this to last a long time you can, but you need to get excited and get to work with your overall plans!

Stop working in your work and work on your work.

    Thanks,
    Dave
