Need Advice: How to Sell My MRR and PLR

Hello, everyone! I have tons of MRR and PLR e-books, gathering cyber-dust on my hard drive. Could anyone please give me some advice on how to sell them? I don't have money to invest right now. I don't have a website. Where else besides Tradebit can I sell them? Would putting them up on eBay be a good idea? What is the fastest and the best way to sell them? What's the best thing that you can do with them to make money?

You can choose the good PLR products put them in your blog and do a good product review.

These are probably the same PLR and MRR products that most people have on their hard drives gathering dust, so IMHO the best way to sell them would be to make them unique somehow. Combine them, add to them etc... to create derivative works.

Maybe make big MRR packs on the same topic?

Of course, you will have to check the licenses to see if they allow you to break them up, change them, combine them etc...

I dont know how good ebay is for selling this stuff, you might have to get creative to sell over there. Maybe you could try fiverr? I dont know anything about that either but I've heard that people sell MRR over there too.

These ideas are great. Yes, I guess you're right. I should make these products unique or I would have a hard time selling them. I should double check the licenses though. Thank you!

why not bundle them up and offer them as a bonus rather than the actual product itself?

what else can you offer a customer to buy and have the MRR/PLR products as bonuses.

depending on how good the PLR/MRR products are, people will buy the main product just for the bonuses if they're good! i've used this strategy a lot where i've offered a workshop or coaching or something as a BONUS rather than the actual product and i've found that people bought it because the bonus was so good!

/aside/ i know many people say bonuses are dead...i disagree wholeheartedly.

      Hi,

We've revised and bundled some content and placed it on CDs / DVDs to mail out via Ebay auctions and Buy Now / store set ups. That went well until we had other work areas that needed our attention then.

Just double-check your license to make sure you are allowed to sell the content there. You may need to revise it first.

Bad advice. A WSO has to be your own work.

@the OP: People are always looking for resale rights products. You could easily list all your MRR products, separated by category, on a simple blog. If you have the rights to do so, you could also reprice them competitively.

Use a service like e-junkie to fulfil the orders (only $5 a month - and there's probably a free trial period) and put a link promoting the blog in your sig.

Much easier than faffing around with CDROMs on eBay, IMO.

As for the PLR ebooks; well, I see you offer a rewriting service - when you're between projects, why not hire yourself and crank out some good, original products?

Thanks for your suggestion. However, that would mean I would have to create my own product, which isn't a bad idea at all.

if you want to run a serious IM business you cannot rely on selling someone elses stuff. you must create your own products/services to make this a sustainable business otherwise its short lived and difficult to stand out from the crowd.

        just my 2c....

MRR and PLR are old school stuff - you might want to look into viral marketing if you really want to make money on the internet. If you want to do PLR or MRR you can still go to places that sell these books like the directories and submit your work.

You can also repurpose that PLR into different formats - turn ebooks into videos, for example, which have a much higher perceived value as products. Or use several PLR items on the same subject as the basis for your own product, combining all the knowledge you can glean from them into something super special and unique!

Perhaps you can create a membership site and drip feed your products to them on a weekly or daily basis depending on how much content you have.

I have seen plr for sale on ebay, so I am sure you could build a good list of customers and a good long term business from ebay.

I think, to sell from ebay you would need to save them to cd or disc, but there should be good profits there.

    Hope this helps.

I would suggest a membership site, if you have enough content based on a similar topic (IM, dating, weight loss, etc.). The other idea is to create new products using the PLR you have as a basis for research and to help get your started. You could then sell it on the Warrior Forum or other sites, Tradebit being a good example.

I don't think you've got anything to lose by trying the eBay route and then seeing how it goes. If you do, though, make sure you are careful and conform to all their rules regarding these kinds of products. I am pretty sure you now have to mail out physical CDs as eBay has banned digital download items (don't quote me on that as I don't sell there myself).

Maybe try putting a few large packages on Tradebit too to see how they go (I say large so you can test it without wasting your time uploading lots of small packages when you're unsure of whether they will do well there).

Like Lee said above, I do think it's good to make them unique or different in some way, but many MRR licenses won't allow this so do check before you start selling/ working on them.

You could try putting them on a CD/DVD and selling em on Craigslist or eBay :-)

    This is good info...

I have 3 books I've written and I have taken advice to sell them via PLR &MRR.

Only thing was I wasn't shown where to go to do that!

Is there a PLR registry where buyers come for this style of product, or do I just sell the the normal way?

I got onto Google just now to hunt down how to do it and this post was the top of Google!
So, I'm back in here...on the prowl to see if some Warrior can help me out please?

    Thanks
    Kindest...

Don't look at your PLR as product in itself but as a platform for an even greater product. Take what you have and create something totally unique. If the niche is right you can't lose. Try converting it into videos and audios and adding some additional content. Then repackage the entire product with new graphics.
