That's a lot of free books.

My impression to date after collecting far more free ebooks after opting into things while doing IM related tasks and winding up on even more subscription lists.

I'm wading through them now, looking for 1 that I'd give an honest recommendation too. I'm sure Its in the collection somewhere, and there's probably several I have already that you would recommend.

So there it is - if you've read a free IM related e-book you'd recommend, suggest it here. I'll do the same as soon as I find one in the list I'm working through, and hopefully others will contribute a title as well (and not purely because of an affiliate relationship).

Actually, if you know of free money making books, it's best to post them in the http://www.warriorforum.com/make-money-online/ section.

I'm not sure if opt-in prizes fit in.

I have absolutely no doubt about that. I decided going into this that I would neither spend a dime on it that wasn't made through my IM efforts (onsite or outsourced), nor take a dime out of anything made from it until it was earning enough to be well beyond seed money level. That may mean it takes a little longer.

Having watched my father spend 5 years and nearly go bankrupt, before cashing out for peanuts so, that he could be his own employer, I chose not to follow in his in food steps in my own venture with IM. That takes any stress off too as there's no pressure to recoup a non-existent financial investment.

And of all the things I could spend money on, the War Room is probably the best investment. Its a trivial thing to some, but a principled thing to me. When I buy that membership out of the money I've made from IM I'll appreciate it that much more as well.

This is my own philosophy and something personal to everyone, so its not meant to be interpreted as any kind of dogma for other's choices. We all have our own backgrounds and points of view.

My favorite was The Empire Formula by Anik Singal. I don't know if he is still giving away for free. It was in the WSO section a few days ago and the information in it is amazing! Most detailed, step by step guide I've ever seen. Its kind of funny that the best product on my hard drive costed nothing.

It's Simple... I don't "sell" IM anymore, but still do lots of YouTube Videos

That's been the case of the few books from the many I've downloaded and looked at so far. The worst offender was posted here (in a different sub-forum): a 6 page "E-book" that was, in its entirety, nothing but a squeeze page with affiliate code embedded. And the title was "download my free e-book to avoid wasting money on..." the exact kind of tool that his sales sheet (sorry, e-book) was pitching. And people were thanking him for it. As in falling over themselves with "nice share" etc. And they are, supposedly, IMers (the ultimate punchline).

Others just offered generally useless platitudes (word count padding) combined with information to be too general to be very useful. The best of the few of the many I have that I've looked through did offer some good info, but I've seen much better in several threads here - and just in one post alone.

As they were free to download I'm still skimming the others while I look for the ones suggested so far. Despite my experience so far, I don't think every single free e-book written is useless. Its kind of like panning for gold: its out there somewhere (or I have it already but haven't gotten to it yet), and finding it will be worth the time spent looking through what I've accumulated after so many opt-ins.
