SUSPENDED FROM Ezinearticles.com

i submitted one of the articles on my blog to EZA recently. Unknown to me, someone had copied my own article and posted it on his website word for word. The result? My account is presently suspended. i cannot submit fresh post for now.

Pls what can i do to resolve this problem?

I would immediately send a message to the help desk at ezinearticles and let them know. It may take a little while for them to get back to you because of the holidays but they have always responded to my messages fairly quickly.

But actually, they should not ban you. Why they have banned you? If someone else is copied the content then they should ban all the links from that websites in Ezinearticles.

Write a email them or contact them with contact us form or PM the admin. Tell them the complete stage behind story. Be honest. They will understand it.

Because at this point they don't know what actually happened. All they see is a plagiarism on the OP's part because the date he posted his article was later than the date the thief posted the article. They don't have all of the information yet and jumped to conclusions based on what they presently know. From a business standpoint, it was probably the right move.

As everyone else said, they have a contact page and if you explain the situation to them and provide evidence that you were the original author of the article, they should reinstate your account and ban the other guy. It sucks, but at this point you're guilty until proven innocent. That's usually how it is on the internet.

Contact them. They recently suspended me because I foolishly set up a pen name for Frosty Snowman. It was just for an example for one of my latest guides, but I forgot that you're not allowed any descriptive names. I e-mailed them, they told me what I'd done wrong, I fixed it, they reinstated me. All it takes is communication.

My account was suspended 4 times within an year. They have become monopoly in business. They are not ready to hear explanation from you without suspension of account. I don't think it is not a good practice of a well established business people.

But what we can do? Still we are begging them to publish our own content.

I don't think they hold a monopoly, there are many other sites that are just as good if not better.. Sure I am a basic plus member going towards platinum but would I reply 100% on EZA.. ?? NO!!

            Hi James,

            This is an interesting point!

I still tkink that EZA are the best and cannot find an article directory that gives as good exposure and SEO benefits, however which ones would you say are also worth using?

That's if you don't mind sharing.

          Hello,

I was wondering if after having your account suspended 4 times, have you gotten your account reinstated? I also got my account suspended (only 1 time though) and I am kind of worried I won't be able to get it reinstated?

          Thank you

Yes, I got my account reinstated. Still i use ezine articles with the above said account. They used to suspend the account before asking you any question. This is what i have experienced before i got platinum account. But when give them proper explanation they reinstated the account every time. So don't worry. If you have not anything illegal or against their TOS, i am sure you will get your account reinstated. Contact them politely and tell the fact from your side. I hope this helps you.

Thanks for your comment! I just sent them a message to explain my situation...hope I just reinstated! Read my new post about this.

I too was suspended from Ezinearticles but after a grovelling e-mail i was reinstated. Unfortunately I have just been suspended again because i mentioned to them that one of my articles was a rewritten PLR article (probably a dumb thing to do). How many times can you have your account suspended before they kick you out for good.

                Regards

      Yah, I agree with Dana.

Due to the holidays, I guess
now they will take more time
      to respond to emails.

I have had a couple of encounters with EZA and found them to be very receptive. There are real people working that that want to help you. Once I had an article turned down...I forget the reason...but after explaining my case and submitting an inquiry I had it approved. They want to help you and keep you submitting articles so definitely contact them.

Also, you should point out that the person who stole your article should be the one who has their account suspended...not you!

If the article is really yours and you can prove it,
you can ask EzineArticles to take down the other
article because he/she took your article without
    your consent.

On the other hand, I'm wondering how somebody
could copy your article and posting it on his
website word for word if you haven't placed it on
    your site first.

    1. DCMA the offender, and get the content removed from his website.

    2. Explain what happened to Ezine Articles, and show them a copy of the DCMA request to prove you did something about it.

    3. Sit back and wait for them to restore your account.

After reading the OP it's my understanding that the content thief did not post it on EZA therefore there is nothing to take down.

It sounds like the OPs article/account was suspended because EZA found the same article on the thiefs website and thought the OP was trying to plagerize.

The problem here was not crappy content getting rejected, it was someone's account getting suspended because EZA thought they were plagerizing when in fact someone else had plagerized the OP.

At least that's my understanding after reading the original post.

    Chris,
I don't mind sharing at all.. But some would accuse me of self promotion because what I see as helping someone another sees as self promotion.

With that said .. I will give you this.

Here are 2 articles written by me and I wrote these articles as part as a christmas gift to warriors. I asked 10 people to PM me their resource box and what niche they was in. I then wrote 10 articles from scratch "FRESH" and I included their resource box and posted the articles on 11 directories.

Here are just 2 of thos articles with stats

Now let's take a look at EZA
Article Views : 547Profile Views: 152 Articles Posted: 9 Dates Posted : Most within the last month So now you do the math ... I have stats above that was kicks the heck out of EZA's stats and in a much shorter time...

So does EZA rule, that depends upon who you talk to and depends upon who has their articles staying on top in EZA..

My entire point is this - There is more than one directory, EZA is not the only one. There are many more ways to earn from articles besides just posting to some self-proclaimed authority site, Don't keep all your eggs in one basket.. And for the love of God open your eyes and see answers right in front of you ...

I think we need to start paying attention here...

You don't get suspended from EZA for one incident, as per many members posting on this topic in the past.

There is something more going on...

It is ironic that you are the first response to this, Raymond Edeh, considering your reputation...

I did. Only because I didn't read the TOS. I mistakenly created a new author name using only my initials. I had this idea that I wanted to do this anonymously. After some communication I got reinstated - I had to delete the new author name first.

I just got suspended from Yahoo Answers today because I didn't read the TOS and posted sales pages as sources because I was lazy. No biggie though. Learn and move on. With Yahoo at least I only have to create a new account but I'm still thinking about it because I wasn't getting very good traffic from it.

Yea, all you have to do is contact EZA and they will do what's right. But they are all off today, so you'll have to wait until tomorrow.

There's no need to freak out and go running to some other article directory just yet!

If you are so inclined, though...there are several threads you can find by doing a quick search of this forum that will give you lists of hundreds of directories out there you can use.

    Respectfully,

Did you submit one of your articles that you published first on your blog as you noted? I think EzineA only accepts original content that hasn't been published first. I just find that publishing to EA first is safer.

Am I missing something here. I thought articles at EZA had to be original and not posted anywhere else. You say yourself that it is already on your blog. Maybe that is why you've been suspended?

Ezine are very responsive to member queries so its probably a good idea to contact the help desk at ezinearticles and let them know as soon as possible. They tend to reply very quickly and are responsive to sensitive issues, check it out if you can.

Send a message to them to clarify. Such things do happen but be prepared to show proof that you are the original author and someone has just plagiarized your work.
