I would recomend Jamie Lewis affiliate training guide. It's a step to step guide that focus very much on online affiliate niche marketing.

The guide is on 55 pages and it's very good. It's helped me alot as an affiliate

But you can send the link to you by PM if you want. PM me if you want me to send you the link.

    Best regards,

    Thanks for the information.

But after a year of reading and attempting I have only recently come to realize one thing: I don't even understand the basis of marketing enough. So I would need a better understanding

Ok, I understand. Have you tried to search on Google?

For example you can try to search for: "Basic online marketing", "marketing for newbies", "online marketing starter guide" etc.

I don't know.. I say this because, in my opinion, you can't get all you need to know from one book. You need both internet and offline resources. You need to be able to figure out what's hot in today's market. There is so many loop-holes in this system that I feel that it is nearly impossible to find all this from one book.

    Hi chika138,

anglandrm's suggestion of 22 Immutable Laws of Marketing is very good.

For me however - I have not enjoyed a book more than Gary Vaynerchuk's 'The Thank You Economy' - for a long time.

Some will say it's about social media -- others about customer service -- and whereas it's certainly about both --- what it's really about --- is however much business changes -- one thing that does not change -- is human nature.

At the end of the day -- we all want to do and conduct business -- with people that we like and trust.

The Thank You Economy is all about that.

I loved it -- I hope you will too!

    Kindest

Yes I understand, but I've got to start somewhere right?

Thanks Chris. I still remember reading your building a website free e-book a year ago. Before I got into Warrior Forum. Time flies.
