where to post want ads looking for help?

Can someone guide me in the right spot to past a want-ad?

I am not sure if I post in the Warriors for Hire section or that is only if you are offering your services. Same thing with the classifieds as I am not selling anything.

Most people here do not know me as I do not post regularly, but I outsource a ton of projects and always need help. Often times the help I need is researchers and this is usually non-related to IM, but easy enough for anyone to do.

I've usually use Craigslist amd Elance for this, but I am thinking (hoping) that Warriors will be a more reliable source.

Thanks in advance.

      Thanks Paul,

Are you sure I can post there? Every post in there right now is for people offering there services. I want to post an ad to people that want to work.

  • There is no dedicated section for this, really. It has never even been tried. People fear it would turn into a bidding style forum, where people post jobs and the lowest bidder wins, making it a haven for scammers, unreputable folks, and people who didn't even care about the WF before that forum was created.

Personally, I believe that if it turns into the elance of the WF, people will notice and stop posting there. After all, who wants to put up a post for a quality article writer or an experienced programmer and get 500 "I do for $5 u like yu like" PMs.

The best thing you can do is ask for recommendations, and warriors will recommend others that they have worked with.

Cherilyn's reply made a lot of sense to me.

It sounds like the Warror Forum is really not the place to find people to outsource to (other than articles, copy and some design). I have done it successfully with Elance and Craigslist, but I can never get people with a marketing mindset which is what the Warriors have.

SuccessWarrior, I will contact you later.
