Approval time/process for the WaFo leaderboard

Does anyone know how long it takes to get a paid leaderboard ad approved on WarriorForum?

I submitted an ad about a week ago and the status still shows up as pending. I'm wondering if I submitted it correctly... I just uploaded it from here...

    It can take awhile. Can't say how long. They get around to it when they get around to it and I think it has to do with how many are in line also. Twice now I had them approved, only to find that the slot was taken when I clicked to pay, and I clicked to pay as soon as it was approved, so I still had to wait until a slot was open for it to be live.

    Ah, damn.

    Do you remember how long it you waited before you got the approval?

    Also, can you shed some light on the ad re-listing process? Does it stay up indefinitely until you cancel the PayPal subscription--or can I like... test it for a short run, take it down, then re-list w/o going thru the whole approval wait again?

      It was probably something around 2 weeks. It's a busy spot. Now if I think I may want to use it, I just submit a banner ad and then activate it when there's a spot available and when I'm ready for it. If you do it exactly when you want to launch, it'll be late to the party.

    I've done plenty of banner ads at the top of the WF and they take different times to get approved. Some have been done in the same day, others have taken closer to a week or even longer. It all depends on how many others are competing for those spots. Also you need to make sure there was a '1 day (100USD)' option in the drop down subscription terms box when you originally uploaded the banner. If that box was empty and you still uploaded your banner then it will never get approved. That box only has an option in it when they are ready to take on new banners.

    Also note that having your banner ad approved does not make it live on the forum. Once your banner is approved you still then have to wait in line to activate it. If you are not right there when they approve your banner then you will likely miss your spot and have to do a lot of refreshing to find another spot open up.

    As for how long the banners last they will expire in 24 hours time from when they get approved. It is up to you to be around in 24 hours time to be quick enough to reactivate the banner. If you are slow then someone else can easily take the spot from you and you end up back in line with everyone else.

    I don't think I'm ever getting approved, lol...

    It's been like 6+ weeks and my ad is still pending. I also submitted a new ad (duplicate of the same banner) about 3-4 weeks back and same deal.
