Why Didn't You Delete My Thread?

As a contrarian, I see things, and I want to do the exact opposite to rattle the nuts in people's heads sometimes.

Far too often, people get all bent out of shape because their posts were deleted, as if they should have been exempted from the rules that apply to other forum members.

"Where is the democracy," they say...

As if yelling "fire" in a crowded theater is a form of protected free speech...

The WF Old Timers will tell you that we all get posts deleted... Without explanations... Or spoken reasons why...

With 6 mods keeping the sanity of a forum with more than one-quarter million registered members, why would anyone really expect to believe that mods have time to answer every poor schmuck who believes that he/she is "entitled" to a reason why?



And therein resides the problem that so many of these folks really have...

They are not upset that posts and threads disappear everyday... Nor are they upset that they did not convince the mods to hold their hands...

Instead, they are upset because they believe that they are "entitled" to receive special treatment.

The "entitlement mentality" is the one thing that causes more wanna-be Internet Marketers to fail, than any other single reason.

Successful Internet Marketers tend to be those people who go against the grain of society, and they go further against the grain by believing that they can excel where others will fail...

The Entrepreneurial Mindset that is so common among successful Warriors, is not one that encourages "entitlement"...

The only people who really believe in "entitlement programs" are governments that want to encourage reliance on the government and those who are on the entitlement dole offered by their governments.

If you feel entitled to those benefits offered by others, then perhaps you need to ask those who offer entitlement programs what other entitlements you are qualified to receive...

But when you are here in the Warrior Forum, in the midst of some of the sharpest business minds on the planet, perhaps you would be better off to learn the Entrepreneurial Mindset that is so prevalent in this forum.

We are not here to teach you how to get freebies from your government. Instead, we are here to teach you how to overcome the obstacles set in your path, to become one of the people that we will also look up to one day.

So, why don't they delete my threads and posts?

Well, they do... But you will never hear me whine about it.
