Hey Warriors!

So I'm thinking of getting my hands on Twitter Marketing. I'm thinking of building micro-niche websites optimized for Adsense, and promoting them via Twitter.
Here's what I have in my mind:

1) Build micro-niche websites with Okay-ish content
2) Register several Twitter accounts, each for a broad niche.
3) Tweet about some facts relevant to the niche, or link to authority webpages in the niche, such as News Stories (I assume I need to do that for gaining credibility)
(..Also might tweet some links to CPA offers)
4) Follow LOTS and lots of people tweeting about #keywords (and hope they follow me back?)
5) Tweet links to my websites' pages, relevant to the broad niches (well, I'll have sites in different micro-niches, and my Twitter niches will be broad, so I'll most likely tweet multiple micro-niche sites' links on my Twitter targeting a broad niche. Will also help make myself look less like a spammer.)

What do you guys think? Well, to be honest, I'm an ABSOLUTE newbie when it comes to Social Media :/ But the strategy I just mentioned above is what my common sense tells me to do. If I follow about 300 people daily (I don't intend to do that manually ), and tweet fairly OK content, do you think I can get a good amount of visitors to my sites?

Well, I believe many of you pros are experienced with Twitter Marketing. I'd appreciate if you can give me some tips to strengthen my strategy...or get more followers, or get more pageviews to my links. Every penny counts! And if you believe I'm doing something wrong, please guide me.

Also, success stories really motivate me. If any of you have had a good success with Twitter Marketing, I'd greatly appreciate if you can share your story here! How much traffic did you get from Traffic, and how? Stuff like that.

Oh wait! I have one more dumb/blonde question. Should I set my Twitter accounts' usernames as some pen names showing its an individual tweeting about stuff, OR should I use a username that will reflect my niche's name in it? I'm thinking of the latter - sounds helpful in gaining credibility, but I'm not so sure..as pen names sometimes seem more genuine..Anyway, an expert advice would be great!

Thanks a lot. Looking forward to replies.

    Hey Anish,

I am certainly not an expert but got 31k followers on twitter and that done within less than 6 months.

    My recommendations:
    1) Chat with some people on twitter by showing that you are real person (that will encourage them to list you and connect with you more)
    2) Don't follow GOOROOS. By that I mean They have thousandsa of followers and they are not following anybody.
    3) Start by creating profile, then add picture. Next day follow 50 people. Next day follow 100 people. And increase so. In this way you won't get banned

      Hi ZilvinasJuraska,

31k followers in 6 months sounds quite good to me! Is it a personal Twitter or do you have some specific niche, if I may ask?

      1) And yes, interacting with people will definitely be a sure-fire way to give boost to credibility. Will do that! Thanks.
      2) GOOROOS? Never heard that term before, but alright, gotcha!
      3) Hmm. Can following 300 people in a single day the very first time get me banned? Mehh. Well, I suppose you're right... Gradually increasing would put me on the safer side. I'll try that I guess, even though I'm not very patient. :/ lol

Thanks for your response, buddy. Appreciate your input.

Personal + integrated with blog, but I don't chat too much as you can see about 60 tweets only but with 31k followers it looks good

        2) From Wikipedia: "A guru (Sanskrit: गुरु) is one who is regarded as having great knowledge, wisdom, and authority in a certain area, and who uses it to guide others (teacher)."

By that I meant that you delete from your "to follow list" people who don't follow many people but have huge list of followers.

        3) Don't worry, it is just a beginning Later the numbers only will increase

No offense, but 31k followers and only 60 tweets doesn't really look that good to me. It tells me that you're just there to collect followers and not to add value by interacting or being.. you know... "social".... on a "social" network.

          Just sayin'.

I absolutely agree with you, but as I am doing other activities (creating first product, reading books and watching videos) I don't have time to communicate too much I even don't have facebook yet, lol But that should change within a few months

I know what you mean, and it wasn't a personal knock against you, I was just responding to your statement that it looked good.

Best of luck to you in everything that you do.

I see. That's interesting. Yeah, I just saw your twitter (I love your background!! I so want it lol) .

Oh, I got it. Yeah, defo.. I won't follow those.

Hm, okay. Yeah...I have to remind myself that I can use these Twitter a/c's for YEARS and promote literally hundreds of my future micro-niche sites for years to come . The potential is amazing! (I just wish I was more patient. Hahah.)

Anyway, you'll be the first person I'll follow. Hah xD Catch you on the flip side!

Well, just talk like you'd talk to a friend. For example, if someone says "yay, I got my first adsense check!", you can reply with soemthing like "@username, congratulations" etc. Just look at their tweets and find something you can reply to. Or you can just ask them directly "whats up!". Be friendly and they'll love you!
One more thing: People love to be appreciated for their success. So if in any tweet they mention of a recent success achieved, show your appreciation! I (I'm not speaking of ass-kissing Showing sincere appreciation is a great way to entice people )

Heh, thanks But hired designer to create a new background with photo and some text on it, so hope to get it within a few weeks The hardest thing is to make that background available to all resolutions correctly

Yeah, absolutely I guess you could safely follow 300 people after two weeks safely

Oh, additional tip. To make highly human account, don't follow all those people at once. Example:
        9:00 a.m. Follow 45
        11:30 a.m. Follow 69
        15:00 p.m. Follow 50
        18:00 p.m. Follow 89
        21:00 p.m. Follow 60

This is something similar as I do. This will surely help

Okay I follow back mostly (if you have picture ) See you there xD

LOLOLOL (I used 11 images (smiles in this post, I had to delete one xD)

Hmm. Yeah, alright. I'll make a schedule like that. Seems like a smart idea.

Also, where'd you get the current background? Did you find it on web for free or purchased it?

Okay, now I'm gonna stop being lazy and start creating Twitter accounts. lol.

P.S. Congratts, you outemoticon'ed everyone in the thread. HAHA.

Purchased it on fiverr for 5$ and provided words for that But there are many designers as I see now. It was easier to choose earlier

That is awesome. Um, what kind of tweets did you post, though? I'm not too sure right now, since I'm just starting out :/ Currently I'm just posting 1) links to some relevant news stories etc..And 2) trying to post some relevant facts of one line.. It doesn't matter what niche (industry) you are. People are people. And they want to communicate That's why twitter was created.

Just be aware that you are not communicating with robots (which is popular in affiliate marketing niche). Look in recent tweets. If they are all quotes and links, don't write to this person.

As example, you can take one person, look at his site and then write comment/opinion about his site or ask how he is doing.

You can use search.twitter.com to find people that are talking about topics you know and then join in with those.
