Should I even bother with IM?

If I don't know how to create my own website, and I don't like to write, should I even bother with IM? It seems like those are 2 major components of making any money. Or am I wrong?

You could do things like podcasting, or video sharing.

Bottom line, you need to provide something of value, otherwise, no IM is not for you.

Well to be completely honest with you my friend, in most cases you don't really have to do any of that. You could always do it the traditional way, where there really isn't any writing involved, but it would be somewhat of a hassle.

But to really be to enjoy the "fruits of your labor" in this business, or anything you do, you have to be willing to do things other people won't do. Yeah, you might not know how to build a website or capture pages, and you might not like to write either, but it doesn't mean that you can't learn and try it out. Once you make it routine, it becomes simple and fun.

I didn't know how to build a site...well truth be told...I still don't...I can put together wordpress site tho..and that's all about you need to know how to do.

Writing...do it yourself or outsource if want to spend the cash to start.

You need to be interested in IM'ing tho or it won't work for you.

      Good Luck

You can always outsource your needed materials, although this gets expensive and you should learn eventually.

To build a website I would try the Nvu html editor, google it, to start.

It really is easy to understand and it creates pretty darn good looking opt in pages, so you can build a list of leads.

Writing is something that you can always outsource with no problem, as long as you have the money. One thing to note is, if you have not tried to actually sit down and write a quality article, just do it! You will be surprised.

Hope this helps you out and good luck.

        Regards,
        -Christian

Reading between the lines here, I'd say you need to look at attitude first. Are you willing to commit yourself fully to success or just "bother" with it?

I think Kevin hit the nail on the head here.

You don't become successful in any field by picking and choosing what you do.

You do what it takes to get the skills and get the job done.

You can outsource both of the tasks you mention but you can't outsource genuine commitment and the serious intent that you will make the income you want to make in your own internet marketing endeavor.

That has to come from you.

      Kindest regards,
      Andrew Cavanagh

When I first started out, I remember writing a post that stated. "I don't know how to do anything in IM. However, I'd dedicated and willing to learn. Can someone help lead me in the right direction?"

From there, a generous Warrior taught me how to write. With the money I generated from writing, I got someone to teach me how to create my own websites. Next, I learned internet marketing.

If after a few posts, you put out an intention to give up, you close all hopes of ever succeeding in IM, which will enable you to remain in the same place you are for a very long time.

If I were you, I'd read over the post you just wrote and ask yourself, what is it that you really want to do. Because if you want to do something badly enough, you'll find a way to do whatever it takes to get the skills you need to be successful.

Try WebEasy7 Pro and/or CoffeeCup Website Software, both are so easy to use and build sites with that a 12 year old could do it. Both have free trials.

      Here's my advice moneymaker

Pick one stream of making money online and stick to it, you say you don't like writing. If you start writing about stuff that interests you, you may start to like writing. If you are interested in golf. You can start a golf blog, its probably wise to start off with a blogger blog. Most bloggers quit after a few weeks.

If it's something you enjoy, move onto your own domain and wordpress blog, there are tons of free ebooks out there telling you how to create one. Once your up and running start commenting on other blogs, your current name moneymaker1206 looks a little spammy. So it would be wise to choose one which looks legit.

Writing is a big part of making money online, but there are other ways to make a nice living online. If you are a newbie I would suggest you start learning all you can about Internet Marketing this forum is a hive of information to get you started.

      Good luck with it all
