hello i am trying to make money using affilate marketing or really make money in general in the past i have been successful but not successful as i should have i have great programming skills and pretty good web design skills does anyone have any suggestions on ways that i would be able to make money online ?

    There is a ton of information on this forum. Read as many threads as you can. Even if you sometimes don't know what people are talking about, google it, and just keep reading. You'll find WSO's offered that may help you, or references to free courses on internet marketing. Read read and read. You will form a picture of what you want to do and how to do it.

    If you have programming skills then get talking to some of the more serious marketers about software creation. Joint Venturing with them on a software product will make you some good money - depending on if you can do what they ask of you.

    Otherwise brother I recommend you start on a simple route: Get a product (your own or affiliated) - Build a Minisite - Write a Sales Copy - Drive traffic to your site - Create a List-builder and a Back-End.

    Follow those exact steps.

    Study and master each unknown area - furthermore, study and master continually these steps.

    Master them all and you will never have to worry about an income ever again.

    That's the raw truth of the matter - there is a lot to learn, but judging by your current experiences with programming and web design - you should find this easy as most do.

    Programming skills are great. SELLING skills are better. It's one thing John Carleton harps on a lot, but there's no substitute for good sales chops. Learn to sell, it makes everything else online easier.

    Which would you rather do- affiliate marketing or programming?

    As mentioned above you can do very well either way. But you will probably be more successful picking something that interests you- at least initially.

    Agree with what's been posted. Read all you can on here and see what piques your interest, then follow it. Read and search a lot. YOu could get lost in here for months. Find something, then go for it.
