Articles vs Wordpress Blogs

Hey Warriors, one quick question.....

why do people use wordpress blogs, when you can just use a free article, promote on their rank it on google, and make cash like that???

what is the difference?? love to here your answers

    Not sure your question makes any sense. Are you saying why should someone create their own blog and write their own content when they could just pull a free article from someplace else and use that instead?

    Because I want to retain control over my content.

    When you post articles on other sites, you hand over control - that other site can delete your account and your content as they see fit. If their are any policy changes, you have to make sure your articles meet the guidelines.

    By running my own site, I make my own rules and post the types of articles that "I" want to post.

    One is a way of attracting traffic and the other is a website content management system, surely? :confused:

    Your articles can be published on your site/blog whether that site/blog is made from Wordpress or from any other content management system.

    Unless you're talking about publishing articles on someone else's site instead, and not on your own site at all? (But that would be a pretty one-sided comparison, wouldn't it?). :confused:

    thanks kev I was thinking that, youve answered my question perfectly, its true, article directories can just delete your content, and you have no control what so ever, but wth wordpress, you have the control, and therefore make residual income without risking the chance that it would get deleted

    The answer is control.

    You have full control over your own sites, whereas with article directories and free blog hosts you can lose all your hard work over night.

    Your competitor, for instance, can mark your free blog or article as spam and bam, there goes your income.
