Some TIPS for up and coming Internet marketers and money hungry folks
Hey guys, some of this stuff seems like im just being a jerk, but honestly im not. i hope you take some of these tips to heart and really learn from them. (english isnt my first langauge)
- At some point, realize that YOU suck. and you wont be making any money online. BUT, your determined as youve been at this for a while. THATS the good news. its probebly why your reading this.
Related story - Iv always been interest in IM.. since i was 16 years old and in high school (back when AOL was popular) and i had really great ideas..
except.. id have an idea..id build a website for the idea.. except either the website would never get built, or it was half assed.. or took so long the idea was no longer good.
I REALIZED i suck at web design.. it hurt my ego, but it was true.. it wasnt that i coudlnt design one. IT WAS JUST not my strength.. so what did i do?
I FOUND someone who BREASED thru them.. my own cousin.. talked to him, gaved him my idea (my strength) and togather with his expertise and mine. put togather a website that within 3 month was making 1k a month.
- Point is, concentrate and work your strengths NOT your weakness. Find poeple who are better then you and have them work on things that you suck at.
- NEVER PAY PREIMUIM PRICE FOR ANYTHING!
Story - family member wanted to start a hair soloun. she found ALL of her in store products and equipment of a catologe at premium prices. A shampoo bowl that cost 2500 dollars.
I took her online. on craigs list. Found a almost brand new shampoo bowl for 890 dollars!
Point - 2500 shampoo bowl vs 890 shampoo bowl .. look this isnt going to put you in the poor house but if you keep paying for premium things your whole life YOU are gonna end up with a lot less money in the bank. THIS applies to everything from cars to tv's to xboses. believe me folks this stuff adds up! poeople a lot of times buy a 2011 car.. when the 2011 body style looks exactly like a 2009.. why pay a premium when u can get the same exact style car with low miles or thousands and thousands less?
CHEAT
You think bill gates didnt cheat? YOU THINK facebook was solely mark zuckerbergs idea? you think they didnt cheat? Folks, unless you break the law or do something intentionally to hurt someone.. cheating to get good grades or better yet make money should always be considered. BUT remmeber. there is a red line just make sure you dont cross it.
Story - a great promotor got a call at home late at night, the big band he was representing was doing shows in europe was really pist. everything was going bad the food was bad, the promoting was bad, the venues were bad.. the band kept complaining complaining. John (lets call him that) flies to europe.. meets with the head vocalist of the band and sais I CANT BELIEVE HOW BAD MARCUS KLIEN ****ED UP THIS TOUR. IM FIRING HIS ASS RIGHT NOW AND FIXING EVERYTHING MY SELF.
john denver walks into the band meeting and sais. dont worry guys everything is okay. john just fired marcus and is replacing him and doing everything personally.
Except Marcus klien never existed.. john completely made him up and put the blame on him and fired him.. a non existent person.
IDEAS that make money
a great idea is more the half the battle. BUT its worthless unless theres actually a point in time where an exchange of money takes place. I CANT emphesize enough, stop with your bull**** ideas that never have a chance of making any real money
Story - I had a friend, smart as ****. great with compters.. web design.. you know that geek who would always hit max level in a mmo in a week of its realease? he was that asshole.
One night, he goes i have a great idea for a business. im like whats that? hes like if we take ALL the cell phone companies, create some form of national datase where all these cell companies could .. BLAH BLAH BLAH.. all we need to do is convince the owner of the cell phone companies to do this.
I was like.. do you have the phone number of ANY of CEO of the cell phone companies. can you get in touch with them or there top management? He said no.. then i said then shut the **** up and lets concentrate on making 1k amonth first.
Its very important that your ideas dont require you to talk to the president of the usa.. or have to put up your house to fund it.. apple facebook google.. all were started up in basements.. garages.. laptops in dorm rooms.. think of ideas, YOU have control over.. mark built facebook or the foundation of it HIMSELF.. its very important that EVEN if you cant do something you have CONTROL over your ideas. ask for your friends and poeple you trust for help. BUT never relenquish the owership.
"DONT TRY and reinvent the wheel BUT take an angle that changes the dynamic and makes you different"
i had a website that was making decent money.. but i was basicaly doing the same thing as a lot of people. i thought, why dont i create an angle. as soon as i did.. the website doubled its profit per month. if your gonna copy someone else idea to make money thats fine.. like i said u dont have to reinvent the wheel. BUT add an angle to it.. make it different.. MAKE YOUR SELF STAND OUT.
" Always remmeber to pay your self"
My dad was a great business man.. had good ideas that made money, he was a hard worker.. but he never paid himself. he started a T-shirt company.. started making 250 a week.. u know what he did? he started buying 250 dollars more T-shirts a week. When he made 500 dollars more a week. he spent 500 dollars more on buying MORE t-shirt..
The point is, make sure you pay your self, meaning if you make 2 dollars. PUT 1 DOLLAR AWAY.. save it.. every transaction you do, and you make a profilt.. you take some out and PUT IT UNDER your matress..

knock it off with this adsense bull****.. ohhh i know this guy who was making 3k amonth doing adsense just of a site!!
great.. then panda hit and his 1st page ranking got droped to 10th page.. theres BETTER ways to make money trust me..
" stop trying to become rich from the stock market"
you know how who becomes rich from the stock market? NOT YOU.. stop taking your life savings of 25k putting it into pennie stocks.. or any stock.. IF you get lucky and make 10-15 percent return on the year.. that means YOU GOT A WHOPPING 2500 dollars.. can you live off that? oh btw u gotta pay 30 percent tax on that.. take 2500 reinvent in a great idea that has a great chance to make money.. and not only youll make 2500 dollars.. youll do it every month instead of once a year.
" use common sense"
serously folks, self explanatory.. honestly common sense is realy not common.
anyway thats it.. im not gonna brag about how much money i make or what kind of cars and houses i have.. doesnt proof anything. but i will tell you this, following those tips will increase your chance of making money , AT HE VERY least, saving you some time effort and money.
