Got the content, now I need great free pictures for my website. Anyone know where I can get them?

  This one's good. Don't go with Google if you're project is big, you might get into copyright problems.

Just use google images. If you really want free it doesn't get much better than that. Just mind the copyrights.

Just wondering what kind of images you are looking for. What particular image you like to get to have it on your site? Google is great sources for images.

Google is one of the best if you use the image search correctly -

- to make sure the ones you use are legal, you can click on the advanced search, there's a spot where you can change your setting to only search for certain image rights.

You can also do the same advanced search in flickr - there are tons listed - many have to be attributed to the author, but that's also the proper thing to do in most situations.

pdphoto.org also has some.

Wikipedia is loaded with photos that can be used without restrictions - when you click on the photo, it will take you to a page that lists the usage rights.

Shutterstock and istock photo work best for me when it comes to paid images. Istock uses a credit system whereas shutterstock has a batch option to be used within a year and depending on the resolution. I prefer shutterstock.
