Anyone have any experience using itunes affiliates?

I signed up under tradedoubler to use itunes affiliate links in the UK. But after looking it appears their widgets are quite constricted.

Does anyone know if like amazon I can use a product photo from itunes on a blog post and link it to my affiliate link, or do itunes expect you to only use the text links or widgets they provide?

Could I also make a 'Download now' button and link it to the affiliated product?

I've searched around on google but can't seem to find any info on it.

Thanks for any advice.

    Their basic tools are pretty basic but you can use their "Search API" to get what you need (cover art, app icons, 30s song previews) to build all sorts of affiliate links. The documentation can be found on their "Affiliate Resource Site". (I can't paste links as I'm new to the forum) Try googling "Search API" + "iTunes Affiliate" and it should be your first result.

    I think they are pretty protective of what sort of buttons you use/create. They've got some document. I think it may be on that same Apple site as the api documentation.
