I want to create a membership web site

I'm a matchmaker who only works with VERY VERY wealthy men--so currently, women join my database for free....I have all these women and getting more all the time, so I would love to somehow get them to pay me 9.95 (?) a month for....what, I do not know....but, it seems like such a good money opportunity having access to all these ladies..yet, I'm not making a dime off of them! Just so we're clear, I DO NOT want these ladies as paying "matchmaking clients" nor do I want to obligate myself or give them false hope that by paying a 9.95 fee every month that they might be set up on a date. I am not charging them currently because I don't want to be obligated to them as far as matchmaking goes. But, I do want to think of something--via the internet-- that I can give them that they will pay for each month. Currently, I send them a free newsletter each week with 4 topics related to beauty and dating. I have blogs, YouTube videos and am about to start my Internet radio show again. I enjoy helping women, but more from a motivation stand point. I would prefer to hire someone to help me create the content and set it all up, rather than read articles, blogs or ebooks. Thanks-Gina

I know a thing or two about match making and dating.

My question to you is, aren't you getting paid from the men?

I'm not understanding your logic about being "obligated". There are women and men who pay a monthly "fee" to have access to a database. So why can't these women pay you a monthly fee to have access to your database of wealthy men. Match.com and eHarmony.com do this. I realize they are dating websites and not match making websites, but the principle is the same. regarding having a database.

You can do your business on 2 levels. Level one is they can do free searches to your database, but if they see a man they like then they pay you a fee to make the introduction. Though that's probably not a good idea. It all depends on how you have your match making business set up. If it's an exclusive set up where it's only done via private introductions, then obviously it would have to be done a different way.

It's probably better if you can have it set up where women join for free (after all, it sounds like your main client base is wealthy men and if want them to have more choices, then you should have women sign up for free anyway) and it's the men that are paying you to interview them, find out more about them, make sure their not just in it for the money, etc.

If you have any questions about membership sites, I think you'll find this thread very informative:

      Hi roD

Yes, men hire me to make private introductions and pay me a very large fee in advance. So, that's not the issue. Women join my database for free. But, I want to be able to make passive income from all of these ladies that I have access to. Because, why not?

I want to hire a consultant who knows what type of info women would be willing to pay for on a monthly basis, based on the knowledge and resources that I have access to.

I don't understand your question. Are you asking what kind of programming language you should write in to make this site? Do you know PHP?

If I were a single lady who might be introduced to these men I'd possibly pay for some kind of guide on "how to catch the right guy"

I also might look at ads in a newsletter sent to me that perhaps sell things that can improve my chances of being asked out or make me feel special.

Seems to me a drip-fed info site might be the route to go. Basically you create the content ahead of time, and then as your users sign up they are automatically served your pre-written content on a timely basis. As for building such a website there are plenty of solutions available. An auto-responder should be at the top of your list of things to get squared away.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.
