PDF Rebranding. I need something easy

Everytime i take a small step forward i seem to be hitting a wall.

I was going to give away my 10 day newsletter on my opt-in page but i feel like that isn't of enough value.

So then i decided i'd see better results from giving away a free ebook. I found one but it says to give it away i would have to rebrand it. I don't know how to do that, and the rebrander that came with it says "the document don't have a sign"

I just need a simple, but good, weight loss pdf to give away so i can get a list going and add to my income. Buying a domain and hosting killed me and I'm not even online yet.

  • Weight loss is a hugely competitive field, those succeeding tend to have a much bigger operating budget than you, best of luck with it, but if you are planning to rely on search traffic a smaller niche might be easier to succeed in.

    Shop around for PLR sources, the prices can vary quite a lot, usually they come with a .pdf and a .doc version, one can open the .doc with microsoft word and resave an edited version as a pdf.

    I see the free counterpart of microsoft office, Open Office can also save .pdf files.

    A domain name is less than 10 bucks, same as hosting for your first month - so what's killing you? It's hardly a very high business expense. If only more people started treating their online businesses like a real business instead of moaning at everything not coming to them 100% free all the time.

    I get the feeling you're feeling overwhelmed. You think there's this to do, then there's that to do and whilst I'm thinking about it, this, that, and the other as well.

    S-l-o-w d-o-w-n. Just take it easy and do one thing at a time.

    What specific problem are you trying to solve right now? What is your number one frustration or pain?

    And before I disappear, what are you doing in the weight loss niche as an Internet marketing newbie? What have you chosen one of the most highly competitive niches for? What makes you think that this niche is going to serve your best interests?

    • Okay, I shot you an email. I know I'm trying to move too fast...and it's making me frustrated. I have a really awful job that i'm trying to get out of and this is merely one of my outlets that i'm trying to get into.

      I'm focusing more time on this then i am jobhunting, and it doesn't seem like i'm making much progress on either. I figured if i move quickly and figure things out along the way that'll be that much faster that i can learn from my mistakes.

      I am in fact in desperate need of help on many levels and if you could help, i would very much appreciate it.

    If you're going to give away a free ebook, don't worry too much about its value. Your newsletter would do just fine.
  • You probably don't really need to rebrand it. "Rebranding" is usually done to give extra incentive for others to give it away.

    For example, I create a PDF that promotes my own health related private site. In the PDF, I have a link that goes to a sales page for my private site.

    But, I also make the PDF "brandable" so you can take the PDF and convert the sales link so you get a commission if someone follows your link contained in the PDF you gave away.

    One thing you can do is create your own PDF. Go to an article site like Ezinearticles.com and go through all the health articles and pick out 12-20 of the best articles you find. Be sure to follow exinearticles.com's rules and keep links to the author's sites.

    Use OpenOffice to create your PDF and give it away.

    As you start getting more traffic and subscribers, write your own PDF or pay someone else to write it.
