Website Flipping Question?

I would like to sell a few of my websites that are setup on wordpress and I have many courses on flipping but none of them explain how to transfer the sites and domain names to the buyer...

Should I use something like wp twin etc...?

And should I just contact godaddy to transfer the domain name?

    pretty easy to transfer domain name...

    If they have a namecheap account you just need to get their nickname...once you are in namecheap simply transfer domain name to the nickname.

    Then simply upload your FTP files, zip them and send them in zip format..

    Yes just contact the support and they will tell you what you need to do to transfer the domain name. On godaddy there is a FAQ section where there will be explained step by step how to transfer the domain name.

    1. Tell the buyer to to register a account where you got the domain registered. That way you can do simple push to their account.

    2.Do a backup ftp and move to their hosting or simply buy reseller hosting and just forward the account.

    You can find tutorials on youtube on how to do this. I hope that helps.

      I have never transferred a website, but I own a copy of wp twin. I am not trying to make a commission by suggesting the software, but I have used it and it works like a charm. If you are transferring the site, you have to do everything perfect or you will risk screwing something up. Either you must do this on your own, or you will have to hire someone to do it for you.

      If you use wordpress twin, it makes a clone of the entire site in a matter of minutes. In fact you can do it on your own in under ten minutes.(maybe even sooner) To me this would be the easiest and cheapest route to go. As far as the domain name transfer, I have namecheap and they have a feature that allows you to push the domain name to another user. I hope this helps.
