I've seen some real success with my Amazon site that I have that is highly targeted. I've got a conversion rate of 1.92%. This site currently holds the top 4 spots for my main keyword.

At this point, I'm wondering how I could scale this up and ride the success of what's already on the site. I've heard of mini sites being used on a larger scale. As an example, if you have a site about car tires, could you then begin an authority site on car parts with a link to the mini site? I hope I'm making sense here and I'm looking for ideas on how to incorporate this one site into something bigger. Any ideas?

Thanks!!

Mary

Well done with the site thus far, Mary.

If your two sites are on the same hosting account, I would not link them together in any way - I've heard horror stories about Google throwing a wobbly about this (sites got deindexed).

If you sites are on different hosting accounts and preferably have WhoIsGuard protection, then I would be inclined to include a one-way link.

I've also been thinking of doing something similar with my mini-sites. I missed out the chance of Google deindexing them.

Can someone verify what George said?
