Planning to Start an iPhone Development Company... Good Idea?

Hello, I have some Good knowledge of iPhone Dev. I can Code a really nice App ; which most of My Friends Love! They really want to Buy it ; but they Can't.

To date , it cost's $99 to Publish on the App store. Do you think This would be a wise investment. Personally I think that I could earn that back , within Days if my App is Good.

Do you think this is a Good Idea? I really do enjoy developing iPhone Apps.

I would appreciate your Idea's.

Thank you

I don't see why not, but it all depends on what kind of app you create. I would focus on developing an app that solves some kind of problem that many people share. (surprise!)

Sounds to me like you already have your answer there. Your market research (your friends) have shown that your product is in demand.

I would definitely go for it. And even if it doesn't become a great success you have great bragging rights

But yeah, if you have both the money and the commitment to go for it - then yes!

Your biggest obstacle might be to get your app marketed. Do some googling, check out Trey Smith, ask for blogs to review your app (powerful), participate in "app of the day" deals, etc etc.

With hard work you should be able to make some money off this as well!

Yes, absoultely! Especially if you already customers waiting to purchase it. $99 is definitely a wise investment if you enjoy making apps, that's really the most important thing. If you enjoy what you do and work hard at it you will have great success.

    I say go for it!

There are millions of proud iPhone owners who love apps, so just do the math on how much you could make per app.

I would go for it. There is noting worst than having a good idea and never taking action on it. At least you could say I tried and failed rather than I failed but never tried.

It is an awesome idea. All you need is the skills to back it up.

If you give it a try and create some impressive apps, not only will you make some quick cash, but you can develop a portfolio. This will help you find clients to build your company (if you want to build apps for others as well as yourself).

Show me what you can do and I'll pay the $99 :p

Hey there! I'm in Stockton too - W. Lincoln Road across the bridge, behind the gates! Oh good! Maybe you can stop by and verify the white Rolls in my garage and the African Serval in my backyard zoo!! Then people will believe me when I say I'm just eccentric, not crazy!! OMG! you probably know Production Chemical [Channel/Union/Weber) Stockton is not that big.

I'm doing this website and a matching iphone app for my neighbor's upscale fashion boutique: Fina Boutique Home Page Why don't get a couple of furniture stores and a few appliance stores and see if they want websites like that one and we'll split the proceeds 50/50?

So what you would rather say: "I may be Has-Been but that's better than a Never-Was like YOU!!"

Hey Guys! ALOT was happening in the Mobile Marketing Industry during July namely, the 2-hour "Webinar Special" that is supposed to have been taken down quite some time ago. Fast forward to the end - it's pretty funny how they, all of a sudden, reluctantly add some more fast-action bonuses because they were ALL GONE and people were "BEGGING" to get one but didn't make it before they were ALL GONE.

Then, they start in with telling people to go borrow money from 4-5 people who won't mind if you don't pay it back anytime soon...then they say Oh, but you will because you'll be make so much money! Which is it? I'm confused??

It was $697 with 2 easy payments of $397 for an extra $100 and then ON-Exit the offer was 5 easy payments of $197 each for an extra $300 for those who didn't have the $700.

Now it's $997 with 3 easy payments of $445 for a whopping extra $340 to "help" those who don't have the full $1,000 and that's when I couldn't take it any more! I made that rebuttal offer on the right side of their "Webinar special" for $199 - go ahead and check out the WHOLE Offer, please.

Then let me know if any of you guys would like a "review copy" although it really is an entire Web Marketing Business but that's what your Title says: "Planning to Start an iPhone Development Company" so if that's what you want to do, this would be the way to go.
